Japanese Alphabet Song

I was browing the YouTube one day, quite a long time ago, and came across an interesting video. The Japanese Alphabet song! Its actually very addictive, I already know the Japanese Alphabet, but its still fun to sing. And for those of you who do not, let me enlighten you...

Layers & Textures Hooray!

Im so excited that I finally figured out how to add and edit layers in GIMP!
Ive been wanting to know how to ever since I see people creating cards/wallpapers that look really nice using different texture layers, but didnt have GIMP at the time. Also, yesterday, I made my Gakupo card for the challenge, Honor of the Samurai, and wanted to add texture to it, but didnt know how, though I did have GIMP.

So I moseyed myself on over to the GrooseTube [yes yes, I really mean YouTube, but Groose renamed it, he said it needed a new name, see what Im sayin?] and searched for 'how to add layers in GIMP'. Yesterday when I tried finding a video for it, I couldnt find one that was helpful. Today however, I just clicked on the first one I saw and BAM! First 2minutes helped me already! It was an 11min long tutorial too, but I just watched like the first 2. The lovely little video that helped me was this:

I really should add layers to that Gakupo card I had submitted, Im not pleased with the way it is now. I'll do that when I have time then, and you can expect I'll be making better/more cards/wallpapers from here on out! BELIEVE IT! AND PUT YA GUNS ON!

Skyward Sword on iPod!

So some of you may know how much of a Zelda fan I am, more specifically, obsessed with Skyward Sword at the moment. As you may also know, the game Skyward Sword comes with a bonus orchestrated CD. I put only a few of the songs from that CD onto my iPod (mainly only a few cause my iPod only holds about 170 songs). I was pretty happy about having Zelda music on my iPod, but then I wanted more!

Now, the place where I normally download my music is Frostwire. I used to use the old one, version 4.21, even though I had the version 5, the newer one, downloaded onto my computer, because I thought it was better. Well today proved me wrong. I was searching for Groose's Theme on Frostwire, using both versions. On ver. 4 there were many results from the search, and I tried downloading about 3 onto my computer, but none of them worked, they all said the same stupid ad. Then I looked to ver. 5 and saw that there was only 1 result for the search, it said Skyward Sword OST, and I clicked on it to begin downloading it. It took a while to download, but once I launched it, it immediately transferred to my iTunes.

And what do you know, I found out that the Skyward Sword OST was all of the music from the game! About 122 files of it, every single piece of music from the game! Still because my iPod cant hold very much music, I only put a few of the songs I liked best on it, but its still a great feeling to know that I have all the SS music on my iTunes library!

Kaepora Gaebora Wannabe

I found the cutest thing while searching for Keapora Geabora pictures on Google, look below.

Good 'Ol Groosey Groose

We all know him yes, that strange and at first, rival to Link, GROOSE!
During the first part of the game he steals our poor Crimson Loftwing and pens it in a cave, which makes us think of him as a not so good kind of person. But later on, he becomes less annoying to us and starts helping out a bit. He even goes out of his way to name the Faron Woods the Grooseland. How dashing. And then with his creation of the wunderbar Groosenator, he's a great help for fighting the Imprisoned.

Im sure you've all heard it, and perhaps like me, youve even danced along to it when you hear it, Grooses theme!

I dont know about you, but if I were a trombone/baritone player, I would be playing this everyday in band! Course Im sure it can be played almost as wonderfully on a clarinet, but it wouldnt have that....that...well, you know what Im talking about, that Groosey feeling to it.Though I say, I do love those little clarinet trilley parts in there, makes me want to play them myself had I known which notes they are I love this song so much, I only wish it were longer, thankfully there is a such thing as YouTube repeat, so that I may dance along to all the Groose-ness as long as I want. Enjoy~
