I went to the "nice" aisle at Dillard's. Bad idea. Good idea - getting a job. ^^ With the health problems my family's dealing with, looks like some of us will be job-hunting for something less physical in the near future. That'll be loads of fun. *rolls eyes*
Sounds like a business partnership in the making... ^^ And Shika can be the designer. She's always wanted to make her spiffy khaki pants of doom. This could be her chance. =P

My brother has the same problem with sizings, though he's more around 5'8". Still, once we got him a few properly tailored suits from Men's Wearhouse, he looks mighty fine, and I'm saying that about my own brother. I decided to get him a few real nice dress shirts to go with them - cost me over $120 for 2 shirts. Ouch.
But trust me. Being willing to pay several hundred apiece for a couple good suits is really the way to go. It's money well spent, and unless you plan on gaining a significant amount of weight, high quality tailored suits will last for years.
Or go the Ichigo route. Dress slacks, dress jacket, open collar shirt. Works for almost any occasion and draws attention away from the height and to the man.
And I have issues finding things that fit my form, too. Apparently if you're short and female they expect you to have the hips of a 12-year old boy. Excuse me, but some of us are actually shaped like women, thank you very much. That's what's made me anti-shopping. Frustration isn't something I enjoy.

...Except that the combination of short and slim makes it extremely hard for me to find clothes that fit just right. Even with a belt on, my pants ride low. I haven't worn a suit since my sister's wedding back in 2000.
I'm sure I'll have to wear one again someday, which means a trip to the tailor.
It's hard to go wrong being a male twig, actually. It's almost impossible to not fit into one of those quite acceptable categories, handsome or adorable. So cheer up. ^^ Not to mention, slim guys look awesome in suits. Hard to go wrong there. Very James Bond. Try it out. Dress nice - you'll turn some heads. =P

Hey, the one that does Tae Kwon Do is Italian, ripped, and about as handsome as possible. He leads our taiko group. Quite the motivation to stick around... You strive for that, buddy. For all I know, you're already there. ^^
Though there's nothing wrong with being adorable. Chicks dig it. =P
Miss Anonymous: ARE YOU CALLING THE PLIGHT OF PIZZA EVERYWHERE STUPID?!?!? >:O
Not true. You're pretty darn cute sometimes, sis. You just have to let it show through all that muscle. lol. Don't worry. You can do iiiiiii! (yes. There is not supposed to be a "t" on the end of that "it". It's just really hard to get across what I'm trying to say. I'm sure you know though...)
I get quite a few headpats too. From Derrik and Jesse. Yay! Jesse. lol. Oh, and Jacob (my groupie) and Josh (the tall beverage guy. lol).
Hey, not being taller than the guys around you, be they asian, hispanic, or whatever, is not a bad thing. All the pats on the head I received in school show that to be true. Now I just need to work on being adorable... I'm pretty sure that one's a lost cause. Shucks.

Good company I can provide. ^^ I remember nothing made me feel better than being around tiny little Ashley in my orchestra class throughout high school. She was under five feet, and straight up adorable. Made me feel good about myself, seeing someone teeny embracing her size like that. A good attitude can do a person well. ^-^

And yay for chappie-ness^^ I have something new on my Lazy Nook by the way :P

Heh, I'll have to find a not-so-physically-demanding job. I can't take anything where I'd be on my feet all day, it would just exhaust me too quickly.
I want the spiffy khaki pants of doom! =D
