Oh yes I see those a lot to. I always wish that they had a better capture of detail. I like to see the lines in the images and the techniques they tried using.
That's a good point; it can't help people who don't have access to either.
I mostly put it together in response to a lot of the photographed artwork that I have seen on the site. There are some pretty good drawings being ignored because the image quality just doesn't merit a second glance.
Oh, what a helpful tutorial...for some one with a digital camera. Ha ha ha, something that I seem to lack and many of my other friends. But I use the scanner at school. Most of the times if the scanner does not display all my shadows correctly, I just put it on auto mode and scan a whole bunch of times until it gets to a part I like. But, that's because I'm lazy like that.
