Hi :3 Don't worry, even if you haven't drawn for a long time, you'll subconsciously draw well like you always do. From my own experience, after a long hiatus from drawing, my work generally comes out better and a little faster than before, which is really weird haha. So it's no biggy. Scrap paper is still paper, it'll do fine as drawing board. If you feel like drawing, anything will be good to draw on. I always use cheap/scrap paper (unless it's for a gift for something, that's another story).
I hope you have fun in August! My brother actually has the same plans but I think he's going in July. Try not to be too stress with everything or even catching up here. Take care of yourself first, that's most important.

Yay! It's been so long!
I've been reading your posts like normal and I'm super proud of all your achievements in school and being accepted in the overseas program! I can only imagine how excited you must be to get started! SO CONGRATULATIONS! :DDD
Oh yes, I go through the same thing with the online art scene! I find it that it's too much pressure to make pictures that people will like. Or to present yourself and your art in a way to be more popular or just to have that "buzz" around you. Even though I love interacting with other artists and showing my art, I have to remember why I REALLY draw. It's to have fun and to just do it. Not every picture has to be perfect, finished quickly or even be shown to others. But to be focused and enjoying what I'm doing. That is where my real joy of drawing comes from or anything else at that!
But yeah, I can completely understand how you feel about it, it's not always easy! I think the greatest phrase in history has to be "just do it". It's so simple and true, just do it. I'm starting to do just that and it helps me not to waste time and help me learn that I don't need to have a perfect plan or even know what I'm doing. I just need that very next step and let the universe take me to wherever haha!
Whatever you draw, whenever you do draw I'll always be happy to see it! Even though I haven't been actively communicating on here I still adore your pictures and style. I see improvement in every picture! :)
Have a great resting period and I can't wait to hear from you again! Love you friend! *Super Huggles*
