A lot of oc's have been lacking creativity lately. =/
And then some people rip others' ocs off... (COUGHITHINKSOMEONEDIDTHATTOPOORKASADXCOUGH)

I put a headache-load of thought into Takari, but i THINK i might just drop her KH:DM story(Mainly because i'm too lazy to write it atm, and it's too confusing to explain without the story. xD). I was reviewing over it and found out that i'm not sure if it's even possible for KH. xD (is it too weird for a person to have been like, reborn and have their enemy from their past life coming back and trying to kill them...orsomethingalongthoselines? .____.)

I usually don't put as much thought into my other oc's though(Even though there's only 3 others), so they're not that original. xD;

Yeah I'm also thinking of getting rid of my TMM OC, since I don't really spend enough time with her. But mostly I'm just going to put her on the shelf for now and focus all of my attention on Razrael and Riiya. Riiya most importantly(Because I'm trying to avoid Sue-ish ness as much as possible xD)~

I agree with u on the KH rant but and actually, my manga is a crossover manga, not KH fanmanga, so yeah, the whole story's screwed up from the start if u consider it as KH based and such. XD

to tell u the truth, I'm not really liking this whole childhood friendship between Sayoko and Riku, even tho I made it that way in my manga. It's just a little too over the top sweet creamed with sprinkles :P This is what happend when u improvise ur manga and want to firmly stick to ur main idea XD

Since the gang are like 12-ish at the moment, I'm making up their personalities right now and try to make their real personality kick in more and more as they grow older. (which is why Sora is even more imature than he rly is and Riku is kinder and sugar coated XD and Kairi is a meanie cuz I decided to make her that way, as a stupid 12 that i was when i first made my manga, i didn't know any better. :P Though I kinda tried to keep Kazune's personality.)
I just need more time to get to the good part where everyone's personality is perfectly aligned and the way it's supposed to. I'm kinda getting sick of it myslef, having everyone all different XD

But hey, in that case, this entire "OC" and "fan art/ manga/ stories" thing is never meant to exist in the first place XD

I'm actually not sure if i wanna keep my naruto/ mew mew oc since there's constantly a debate about standards and story/ background limitations, how they should act, dress, live, etc. Even crossover manga is having critics and arguments XD it's pretty hard to keep up.
Original characters are just simple, clean and straightforward. I actually consider Sayoko as an original character since I totally screwed the whole kingdomhearts storyline and destiny islands is basically an island i made up just with an exisiting islands' name XD the only kh-ish thing about her is that she likes Riku, and I totally changed the keyblade concept, so I can't rly consider that as a kh-like asset either XD idk

Marly took Rei's heart in Castle Oblivion. then when Keirx appeared in Twilight Town(didn't all organization 13 members originate in front of the mansion? or are my memories a little foggy? :I) Xemnes took her in but when then somehow Rei turned back to her original self(don't wanna spoil too much lol) and he decided to be evil or something and what better way to kill her than to be murdered by her own hands(in other words Keirx)? so that's how Keirx was sent to Castle Oblivion.
hmmm now that I think about it, Keirx does act really child-like sometimes. it's like a really corrupted version of when Rei was a child.

Eh there is no way Cloud could have a Nobody, he never really lost his heart so yeah.
I made Xurik using (heartless)Ansem's possessing Riku as an excuse, saying he, technically, 'lost' his heart because of that. Of course if i decide that that might not work out i can just switch it to Xurik's Other being a soldier of Liore named Kuri (LOL ACORN).

Mmmmm that's...not entirely true.
If i remember correctly, Yensid said in the game that Nobodies used their memories of their past lives to act as if they had hearts still, therefore this could result in them 'developing' a bit of a personality or in the very least acting like they did. Larxene was sadistic, Zexion and Saix were very serious(Though one could say that was because of their lack of a heart.), and Demyx seemed to have a care-free goofball type of personality, but in reality was just as heartless as the rest of them(See him just before his second and final battle with Sora.).

Back to the Elements/Abilities things, yeah i dunno, the club doesn't seem to really know what it's doing. >.<'

Yeah but i kept it stictly to them.(To the point that it nearly had nothing to do with the KH story AT ALL. So i had to tweak things here and there.) But i'm trying to stick Rebirth in there, but since i don't know much about Rebirth either, it's kinda...crud what's the word? @A@ Well i'm still iffy about it.
But yeah Canons going gaga over OCs is what i try to avoid too, hence Noah's one-sided 'love' with Riku. (Despite the Rikoah pictures in my gallery. XD; )

BUT HEY love is a frightning thing. it can blind a person on what's reality and what's not. i know this feeling it really sucks...I need to bang my head against the wall cuz I KNOW that the guy I like would probably not act like I hope. xDDD I think i read a little too much shoujo manga. it can raise our expectations and twist what would really happen in our little fantasies.
I'm mostly just saying our cuz I mean, surely all girls have to have little fantasies one time in their lifetime.
but sometimes it just WAYYYYY too much. I read this one Blood+ fanmanga and Hagi, a really serious character who dedicated his life to Saya, fell in love with the OC instantly. besides that the OC is 100% mary sue. she takes all of Saya's original glory and she's called beautiful and pretty by almost everyone. it's all bleh

everyone has to start somewhere though...I mean Rei used to be REALLY mary sue but I changed her up a lot lol

*nods* I totally agree, now that I think about it. Sure, it's fun to twist a canon character's personality so that they could fall in love with your OC, but really it's not good to do. It just makes the entire creation of the canon character itself lose purpose, you know?

But yes, there is only such a ways that I can go to handling AUs(especially those involving just canon characters with changed personalities). FC AUs I can somewhat handle but it can go a bit overboard sometimes(hence why I didn't have Cloud falling all over Riiya).

I had a good story idea for Riiya's nobody, but after thinking about it, I'm not really sure if that'd be such a good idea. I think I might just eliminate her Nobody altogether because if Riiya is the former wielder of light, she should be strong enough to not have to lose her heart to something.(but that's dangerous because that's leaning towards Sue-ism)
And yeah, I agree with Unknown-chan too on the AU thing. I went ahead and edited it in my post xD
But seriously, originality is really bothering me especially that whole thing with Cloud's girl nobody wth?, so yeah, hence the origin of today's post xD

All the nobodies are for the Nobody Club here on theO, but they barely follow any of the other canon rules so. And it's a club, not really a very serious story for any of them i think.

But since most OCs have a canon love interest and the creator is determined to have the two be together, the AU is doomed from the start because the canon character would never be interested in the OC from the beginning. And then there's the OC that 'was childhood friends with the canon characters' so again, stuff is screwed up and little can ever be salvaged from it. (Noah is drastically different from what he was originally for these very reasons. P: )
Pffft i still can't get myself to refer to fancharacters as FCs, i always call them OCs. OTL

but AD;JFKAHS; srsly about OCs now a days. it's like people are making their OCs...cliche I guess you can call it.
plus whats with all of the Organization XIII OCs??!? only FREAKISHLY STRONG hearts turn into nobodies that look like their whole selves. and people's hearts are fairly weak if you think about it. Sora's heart was only really strong because he was a keybearer. Kairi's cuz she's a princess of heart. from what I remember, I think Xehenort's(did I misspell that? ^^") heart was strong cuz he wanted power. or something along those lines
but anyway, strong hearts like those are hard to come across. I mean think about it. Strong hearts turn into nobodies. and there are a bunch of those in KH2(but notice that there are wayyyyyyyyy more heartless). HOWEVER there are only 13 of that large amount that take a human like form.
and these OCs...I've seen like 32 or so
I'm not saying that Organization XIII OCs are bad, I mean I even have one. it's just I'm seeing so much now. @___@ and i'm all "huhwut"

I'm starting to think people now a days are losing orginality because there are SOOOO many OCs and it's really hard to make an OC unlike an already existing one. P: *shrugs* iunno

I think I mean to say that FC AUs are OKAY as long as the personalities/interests of the canon characters are the same and such. Whenever I draw a piccy/think of an OC/story, capturing the personality and appearance of the OC accurately is more important to me than what the OC might be DOING in the piccy.
I agree with you on that Unknown-chan xD I think I just phrased that in the wrong way. AUs really aren't that good(I don't really like it when they twist it sooo much that it's like BLEH), so let me change that xDD

Actually i disagree with this (And not for personal reasons)
But making an AU means you have to make all the canon characters conform to that universe.
So you basically just screwed up how the characters were supposed to be,
Riku's not very sociable, but loyal to his friends, and he's still nice-ish. Sora's...well Sora. Kairi is nice and cares deeply for her friends.
And then you put 'em in an AU.
Riku's apparently oblivious to someone having a crush on him, after he learns he's...pathetic, sappy and all that jazz. Sora's...probably still Sora. Kairi is a bitch.

AU's are ewwwwwwwwww, they screw with everything, especially if an OC is put into the mix.
I don't mind highschool AUs and stuff for KH that much but FC AUs?
BEGONE, BURN IT WITH FIRE, etc.
