I apologize if I screwed anything up, I warned you about the first part...

Valentine’s Day was never an easy day for the host club; girls poured in by the second for special valentine’s service, and to offer sweets and gifts of every sort to their preferred hosts. Hunny was, of course, ecstatic and doubly-cute on Valentine’s, but each of the other hosts would admit it wore on them a little. Tamaki accepted each package with a graceful bow and a kiss to each girl’s hand before trying to find a place for it in his tower of gifts. Mori simply took each of his, but he made sure to brush his fingertips against the giver’s hands just slightly, causing them to blush and scurry away with girlish squeals. Kyoya looked almost like he was collecting his chocolate to catalog it away later, adjusting his glasses each time he said thank you. The Hitachiin twins, Kaoru and Hikaru, grabbed each of their gifts with mischievous grins before tossing them right over their shoulders, distracting their fans with where their ‘illicit’ hands were straying. Hunny just ate every edible thing he was offered, and set all the non-sweet things to his side, bouncing with a sugar overdose. Haruhi kept up her sweet smile even after getting more gifts than she could remember receiving. People who weren’t even hosts were subject to the holiday; that meant Ran, who was on the receiving end of her own reasonable sized pile of chocolates and gifts. It would be this hectic until the end of the day, as it was every year. Ran did try to help out as much as she could, leading new arrivals to their hosts and herding the girls who were leaving out of the room to prevent it from becoming overcrowded. She tried her best to avoid Tamaki’s table because while she wasn’t going to disrupt the club activities, she did feel even the slightest bit jealous at all the pretty girls giving him gifts and receiving his affections. One fan was receiving an eloquent speech about the healing properties of ginger and some drivel about the beauty of the heart from the blond ‘King’ when Ran dropped a few of her gifts as she moved them into the back room. Each one of the hosts and fans turned to stare at her while she retrieved them off the floor, her cheeks flushing in embarrassment.

“I-I’m sorry,” she muttered quickly, running off. Tamaki was still frozen in the pose he’d taken to tell his story, one arm extended high into the air and his leg propped up on the side of a chair. In a strangely comic way, this contrasted with the worried look on his face as he stared in the direction in which Ran disappeared. The twins looked between one another after waiting to see if he’d return to a more normal pose, turning their gaze to Kyoya. The stoic merely shifted his clipboard into the crook of his arm, pushing his glasses up his nose with his middle finger.

“Alright, I believe it’s closing time for the Host Club.” The collective whine was loud enough to drown out the orchestra music the club had playing in the background.

“But there’s still so much time!” One girl said as she looked at the clock.

“I want to stay with Hunny-kun a while longer!” The owner of the voice slid herself closer to the boy who was shoveling chocolate into his mouth like he had no care in the world.

“You can’t make us leave early on Valentine’s day!” A few fans joined in with shouts of agreement. Tamaki slowly stood up straight and cleared his throat.

“Ladies, I’m so terribly sorry about this!” He clenched his hand over his heart. “I would like to thank you oh so dearly for the time you’ve spend with us and the gifts you’ve given us. As much as I’ve love to sit with each and every one of you and be surrounded by your incomparable beauty,” Hikaru made a face and Kaoru turned his head, snickering, “we will need time to appreciate each of your gifts and to prepare this room for the next time we meet!” The girls all fell into quiet murmurs, rethinking their actions and moving towards the door looking a little sheepish. Kyoya checked his clipboard again, scribbling something in.

“We’ll have a new February album coming out in due time, with a Valentine’s day theme. Maybe even a new calendar.” At this, everyone exited, chittering excitedly about the new Host Club goods. With a heavy sigh, Tamaki ran his hand through his bangs, his face serious. Kyoya only chuckled, scribbling more down until the twins came up and set their chins on his arms.

“Mommyyyyyyyyyy, you can’t possibly expect us to make another album so soon!”

“And a calendar right after the one we just released for the New Year? It’s unfair labour I tell you!” Kyoya only snapped his elbows, causing the twins to clack their teeth together painfully. Rubbing their jaws with identical injured looks, they returned to their seats and got set on actually organizing their gifts somewhat. Tamaki glanced at the back room one last time before Kyoya actually approached him, clipboard folded over his chest.

“Are you ready?” As if by some weird trigger, Hikaru and Kaoru both offered Tamaki a single nod before returning to their work. Mori plucked the sweets away from Hunny so that he focused his attention on the ‘King’, hugging Usa-chan close to himself.

“Oh, it’s already time to start getting ready?” He chirped. Mori gave him back the sugary delights and he was right back to digging in. Tamaki made one last glance at the back room, frowning just slightly.

“Alright, let’s begin.”
