I hate it when anime takes a week off, and goes into filler.
Damn Bleach filler, it sucks.
I take my road test Thursday morning, so today, to get "ready for it" Im going into work to learn how to pass the damn test up here in Wisconsin. Oh well, there arent that many differences, I will do fine. Hell, I passed their written test without studying (I love common sense questions).
My teams first softball game is also Thursday, so we can see if we will be able to compete in this league.
Band practice is going well, Im improving. Though, when the guys went up for an open jam the other night, I could only watch, as I am still learning the songs and would fail horribly if I tried. Soon though.

I got my liscense plates changed to Wisconsin finally, I was trying to get my actual Drivers liscense changed, but when you drive a school bus, you need to take all of the tests again in order to make the switch. When you surrender your out of state liscense, you are not allowed to drive students because you no longer have the proper permits.
Here is where I am an idiot:
I did not surrender my liscense, but I told my employer that I did. My reasoning at the time being that if I told them I couldnt drive, I could get that road test scheduled and taken a little quicker.
Im starting to worry, because I have no idea how long it will take to schedule that test, and as far as my bosses know, I cant work until then. Although I can work.
Im such an idiot, I fucked myself over big time.

May is going to be an incredibly busy month. Aside from work, I have two cons I must get ready for, one of which includes a trip to Toronto. A TheOtaku/MyOtaku meetup at ACEN, many thanks to Katana for spearheading that campaign.

Band Practice has been going well, improvments are made every week, which is what we all want to see. Now "Hoar-Boy" needs to get a new PA, because one he has been using is being taken back by its owner.
Softball is going to be tons of fun, first game is Thursday night.
I need to get my drivers liscense changed to Wisconsin, as well as my plates for my truck.
This is going to a month to remember. I need to borrow a camera for the cons...

Im a bastard.
I have no excuses as to why I have not been around lately. I just havent. I have been playing Grand Theft Auto IV since Wednesday, but I do not apologize for that wonderful time killing experience.

Ive got a lot of catching up to do.
Being asked to sing in a band, very cool. Realizing that you are a couple years behind when it comes to things like rehearsal, not so cool.
The rest of the band members have most of the songs memorized, and are quite good at them. Me on the other hand, Its hard to remember when Im supposed to try and come in with vocals, timing, listening for the changes, Ive got a lot of work to do. And nobody has a digital recorder I can use to put the tracks in my iPod. Maybe Ill see how much they cost at Radioshack and buy one.
In case you were wondering, court was fine. I have another court date on 5/28. So I wont have to worry about that interfering with my Anime North trip.
Im getting my shinsengumi costume made tomorrow, so Im really looking forward to that. Ill post at least one pic when its all said and done.
