I'm with Red and Molly. Getting away from your parents can really do you good, especially if being with them sometimes cause you to get those panic attacks and all. She was the one who invited you, right?
So she must know how much you go through there and it'd also be an adventure! Changes like these don't actually happen twice, I believe.
I'm sure that whatever you do will, with no doubt, be the right choice for you.
Whatever you choose to do I'm sure will work out in the end. Make a list of pros and cons, and then make a decision from that--from what it sounds like, though; I really think you sound like you want to go to Florida. Maybe you need a fresh start. Just consider it. And then do what's right for you.
I'm with RED. How many time times in your life are you going to have the realistic chance for a life changing adveture like that? If you didn't have anyone tied to you there, I'd be hesitant, but since you've been invited by someone you care about, she also seems to think it would do you good...

Bwahaha . . . Oh Rush . . . it should be a good.
As for the other thing . . .
All I can say is that of all my friends who've moved away from me are doing very well for themselves and when they come back into town for a visit it's always good times. Stupid Ed's the ideal example for me: lives a few hours away, I only see him in person every few months, but we always pick up right away and keep in touch online all the time. And like you mentioned already, you'd be staying with someone who's already a very close friend.
If moving to Florida would be better for you yourself, if it would be a place where you could be happier away from the insanity of certain parts of home right now, then it might be something to really consider.

I'd do it. Getting away from your parents can be so liberating, and to me, sounds like you need it. Plus, you'd be living with one of your best friends, and in freakin FLORIDA. I get that you love where you live now, but it might be that time in your life to make the next leap. Whatever you do, consider it very carefully, as I have no doubt you will.
