First thing. HOLY CRAP! DUO! Who convinced you to come back?!
Second, I know its a Bandai and Sunrise tradition to kill off parents and throw in a bunch of political strife, but these characters look so out of place. The explosions, the fighting, the mech designs, and the background are all really well done. The character designs take me right out of the world. At least the pretty boys designs in Wing were more adult looking, and not overly cute chibis.
Ill keep watching, and Ill write up something for each ep, I just am not sure how long I can keep up with it.
I'm curious to see where this series goes. I really like the idea of the fact that it's going to span three generations, and the fact that all the main pilots are either father/son or father/daughter is an interesting concept to me. I agree that the new gundam looks a lot like the original gundam from the UC timeline, and maybe that's kinda like a throwback to that series. *shrugs* I'm always interested in a new universe for gundam and in fact my favorite series are ones that take place outside the UC timeline/universe. To me the character designs looked like they where designed by the guy that did professor layton, but i think they are cute. ^__^. i've read that this season is kinda targeted to a younger demographic so we'll see how they handle all the political and philosophical crap that is usually found in a gundam title.
Everyone needs a photobucket account. =P It's my catch all for when I need to post a pic anywhere lol. I didn't know you could post more than one pic either until I was like well, okay you can only embed one, but can you link one from a url WITH an embedded image? And it worked lol, so then I tried another.

Did you get my last msn message? Msn kind of went haywire on me. As you said, piece of crap technology that I have no right to complain about, but I am anyway.

I agree with Shin on this one. Characters definitely look Sonic-X-y. And didn't you get the memo, Gundams are programmed to destroy parental units. They weren't loved as children gundams.

I think from the start, this series is meant for kids. At least, that's what I heard beforehand, which would explain the character designs and general temperament of the characters.

So I guess you're giving it a so-so rating. I have not seen it. But looking at that pic, the characters are way too round faced and chibi. Not that like, Heero wasn't kind of pretty and all, but he didn't look like he should be on Pokemon instead. And the best thing about the Gundam series that I like is story. This series doesn't sound too promising so far, but I guess we'll just have to see what they do with it.

Its why I included a pic. These characters look like they belong in Pokemon or Digimon or something.
But with all that is going on in life, it felt great to just blog about anime for a change. Nerdiness washed over me for a minute, and it was refreshing.
I was reading this going "hm, I see, hmm" and I was curious about how the character designs were different, then scroll - WOAAAHHH those are some weird designs. Rather a departure for Gundam.
Hmmm Very interesting. This makes me excited and sad at the same time. I am excited for more Unicorn though. OH GOD do I love Unicorn! Where did you watch it at?

@Dark Phoenix:
Unfortunately, no. I did not get your last IM. I had some things I needed to take care of at the moment, so I shut the computer down.
- EDIT -
After starting MSN again, yeah. I got it. Now I need to re-open my photobucket or something. . .
