You can. Most people think that you must be "good" to get to heaven. But the term "good" is very relative. What you may consider "good", another may consider to be "not good enough." So, just how "good" do you have to be? 90% good? 95%? How do you measure that? What if God told you after you died that you needed to be 98%, yet you only managed to make 97%? Too bad, I guess you'll suffer forever for that 1%! As you can see, the idea of earning salvation really doesn't make sense. There is only one road to heaven, and that is not by behavior or deeds, but through Jesus Christ:
Heaven is found Anot having mine own righteousness... but through the faith of Christ" (Phil 3:9).
I'm not advocating a specific church, or asking for donations, or telling you to become a "Baptist" or "Nondemominational." I just want to let you know that heaven is a free gift from the one God, Jesus Christ. We know that Jesus Christ is the Lord, for he said "I and my Father are one"(John 10:30). He suffered the cross for our sins. All you must do is accept that Jesus is your savior and that he died to pay the penalty for the misdeeds of humankind. When He was crucified, He took on the sins of the entire world. This includes you!
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."(John 3:16).
