holy hell now i see why u said u dont know what to do... damn, i hope that it goes well when u talk to them. tell me how it goes or post it, cuz dang that's a hell of a lot of hours.. :/

10hrs sure is a long time to spend studying. I think that the focus needed for that sort of study is attainable, but it's very difficult to go from one frame of mind to another--especially when you put in so many hours on one subject alone.
I really hope that something less stress-inducing can be worked out for you.
O___O Are you kidding? Those hours are ridiculous, Harbs! So that's during the summer? Do you really want to do all that? I know you don't (you said so), but still...I'm sure you have other options open to you. I doubt that spending 5-10 hours a day during the summer is an appetizing proposition, even if it's for the field you want to go into.
I have to talk with my adviser next week. I'm not looking forward to it. I know I'm behind in credits for my major...several...but I'm not taking any summer courses, and I've been avoiding any early morning ones and night ones (since I don't drive, and it would be hard to get a ride)...so I'm pretty much stuck. I'm worried I won't graduate in 4 years like I'm supposed to. *sigh*
But as for you...just talk to your adviser again, and if that doesn't work out, then yes, you should talk to the head of the department or the Dean or whatever! They have to let you in. You're a good student, and it's what you want to do with your life...even if you're missing credits for one course. Say that you'll definitely make them up and take it some other time. And even if you can't do that...and you have to wait a year, does that mean you'll be totally idle for a year without classes? Or would you be taking other ones that would have to do with your major and THEN you can officially register with the nursing program? It's sounds really rough. :(
I'm behind on my credits, and so I keep pushing the courses I need to take...to the next and next year...and I'm running out of years here! ^^;;; I don't know if I'll be able to do it! If only the classes were at the times that could fit my schedule...ugh!! ~__~ Stupid scheduling! It's such a pain. *hugs* So I know what you mean about it being a hassle. You'd think college would have better options for students like you. :/ Just try to think rationally about it and stay calm. Ask the questions you need, and move forward. If you can't do it this year, then just look forward to it the next time. Good luck!! <3

I hope things go well for you. I've got quite a bit of experience with sitting around and doing nothing all day, and as much as I enjoy the free time, it's frustrating as hell not being out and doing something.
Well, I'm praying for you, and no matter what happens, I'm sure it will all work out in the end. Just look at the bright side, and don't overwork yourself.
