When it's at work, then yeah, don't take it. In some places, there's a high level of professionalism involved, so some things shouldn't be tolerated.
I know I've met those "adults" here and there (sadly, I've met far too many). The last kind of person you want to be around is the "adult" who still acts like he/she's 15 years old, ready for the next party. I wonder why some of them think that if they have a job, children, and luxuries, they're automatically the paradigms of good sense and judgment.
In any case, don't take no guff, and show 'em how an adult handles the situation.
