GOOOOOOOD LUCK again!! You can do it!!! >3 Study well~ And whatever helps you. If you have that system going, then cool. I wouldn't want to put that much effort into it, lol. I'm just lucky that I have a somewhat photographic memory. XD Only somewhat though. So just reading over my notes is (usually) good enough.
Yeah, you'll probably get the periodic table. We do, too. Never had to memorize it. XD Just do your best~ With all this studying, I'm sure you'll get an A. :)
You're welcome. ^^ Woot for the snow day, too~

I re-typed some notes on what I learned online combined with some things I learned in class. It's a weird way to help me remember things. But the thing is, our professor gives us a ton of notes… I don't even know where to start sometimes, but I'm glad that she gave us a review sheet to study for the exam. But the topics she gave us are vague because they're massive topics to study.
I think that she'll put the atomic masses of the compounds on the exam, but all chemists in some way or another have to utilize the Periodic Table of Elements. I guess you can say two days off since I took Sunday off from work and yesterday was a fun snow day. But the exam is tomorrow and I need to get some more extra hours in to get an A on it, hopefully.
High school chemistry wasn't that bad, although I was confused about 50% of the time. I did take your advice into consideration yesterday because I didn't study at all. Now, I'm back today reviewing what I did on Sunday.
However, I indeed reviewed calculations and formulas in my head before and maybe during my sleep. It kind of kept me awake for a few hours, but it wasn't too bad.
Chemistry... I used to love it when I was in school... Then I got to college and it just, well, went over my head. But things worked out for the best in the end. I changed course after a year and ended up taking a whole A-level in one year O_O but it was fun...
I'm sure you'll be fine with your chem stuffs. I'm impressed you studied for 12 hours... Dude... I hope you took a break too! Make sure you give your brain a rest or you'll be calculating the mass of compounds in your sleep!
Wow, that's a lot of chemistry to study! 12 hours?? HOW ON EARTH?? D: Poor Harvey. ;__; Looks like you have a test on lots of what we have. :/ But...yours is probably harder. ^^; Did you type all that stuff up? Does that help you remember things, when you type them out like that? I just take notes in class, and reading over them is enough for me. ^^;
I'm sure you'll get it soon! It's not THAT bad. grams-->moles--->atoms. Did your prof show you conversion factors and stuff? To help you go through these equations? Because if you know them, it makes things a lot easier. And do you have to memorize the period table, too?? I hope not. ;__; GOOD LUCK. *hugs* YOU CAN DO IT.
Snow day? Wooot. We've got lots of snow here, too, but I'm already off this week for my "spring break." :/ Of course it would be the week with tons of snow. ~__~ You get two days off? Wow, relax during them. Don't oversaturate your brain with studying!! But I know what you mean about just wanting to get it over with...ugh...
Personally, I find that I like learning the basic theory of whatever it is that I'm studying. Once I grasp the overall picture of what something is doing, I tend to understand the parts and their roles better. But if I do have to start with the basics, I don't mind that either. It can seem hard at first when you're trying to figure out what some term means and how it's used, but once you've hammered it into your mind you know what to do with it. It's no longer some odd abstruse fact; it's ready to use, as it were.
Well, good luck with the exam, and hope to see you again on Wednesday. Take care!
