This is my idea of a tO world that copies Twitter
This is my mini-post world or whatever.

You still have a long way to go.

Here's yet another Aria related post. One of the main reasons why I love this show is because the ideas and morals shown in almost every episode is easily relatable to what I'm planning on becoming in the future, a nurse. But it can be relatable to anyone who is currently doing some sort of practice or training to become something that they want to be. Not only is it relatable, but it's very thought provoking and uplifting.

This is only from episode one, but it's a really good one that I had to share. If you've never watched Aria before, just know that Akira, Alicia, and Athena are the seniors in this show, while Aika, Akari, and Alice are the apprentices.

Akira: "Sounds like the three of you realized that you still have a long way to go."
Aika: "We sure did. I feel kind of depressed because of it."
Akari: "Let's do our best, Aika."
Aika: "Of course we will."
Alicia: "It's true that the three of you have a long way to go."
Alice: "Alicia."
Alicia: "But, so do I. Akira and Athena too. We all have a long way to go. Right?"
Athena: "Yeah. You're right."
Aika, Akari, and Alice: "Eh?"
Alice: "That's really a shocker."
Akari: "You're already so amazing, we could never catch up to you."
Aika: "She's right! So then, when are you going to be satisfied with yourself, Akira?"
Akira: "Probably never. No matter how much better I get. No matter how long I continue this job. If you believe you've reached the top and become complacent, you can't move forward. That's why I think it's really important to believe you still have a long way to go."
Alicia: "Yes. 'Tomorrow, I'll shine much brighter than I did today.' That's something you want to believe about yourself"
Athena: "That feeling will probably never change, even if you become Primas. Even after you step off your gondolas for the last time, that feeling will still be there."
Akira: "Maybe that's how everyone finds their own brilliance?"
Alice: "Their own brilliance…"
Akira: "In other words, it's only natural that you still have a long way to go."
Athena: "That's right. And that's something very wonderful."
Alicia: "Maybe it's best to just cherish yourself and the journey ahead, and have fun along the way?"
Aika, Akari, and Alice: "Yes."

Unfortunate for Alice

Hey hey. Just want to rant a bit.

So I'm in this club on MyAnimeList.com (MAL) and we always have these weekly poll things to decide whether or not this character has the qualities of a well defined character. We have a list of inducted characters such as Spike Spiegel and a plethora of characters from Monster and The Legend of the Galactic Heroes.

Well, this week it turns out to be Alice Carroll from the Aria series. You can only vote if you've seen at least 75% of a show or manga that she's included in. However, I have some gripes about that requirement.

I think that this is kinda unfortunate because I'm sure a lot of people haven't seen the Origination. I believe that she gets TONS of development there. If I only saw the Animation and Natural (the first two seasons), I'd probably vote no either.. but yeah.

Oh well. There's always loopholes and chinks in any rule anyways. She's still my favorite character from Aria in my heart. :]

I just ordered the DVD boxset for Aria the Origination!
I had to because Crystal Nova stopped their subs for AtO for some reason and I'm very close to the third season.
I only have about 8-9 episodes of Aria the Natural left (I watch an episode a day).
Besides, there's nothing better than watching a highly acclaimed anime in DVD quality. :]

I also had a mini-checklist in my head to see whether or not I should buy it:
Am I going to watch it a lot?: Most likely.
Do I want to support the creators of this series?: DEFINITELY! (The best reason because the Animation and Natural are still close to my heart and very good)
Will the DVD quality be worth it compared to DDLs?: Most likely.

I might do an unboxing video when I get it so expect one soon!
I am really excited to experience this.

The ultimate feel good show is Aria the complete series.
Might sound corny, but this show has helped me become a more optimistic person.
Nearly every episode utilizes the same formula, yet has a deep and meaningful message at the end.

One of my favorite bits has to be this one about enjoying life (Nearly all morals learned here are about enjoying life!).
I've heard it a million times, but hey, it's nice to remember something you take for granted.

If you want to excel in your goal, you have to enjoy it.
If the bad times roll in, you should treat them as the spices to enjoy life even more.

I've got a new outlook on life.
I've got a new smile tonight.
I think it's beautiful.
