(Battle BGM: Eternal Engine of Linguistic Massacre, From Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth)
Rai pulled out his zanpakuto and unleashed shi-kai. He charged in started attacking. The manikin dodged all attacks.
“Just…stay… still!!!” Rai said between slashes, but was then launched upward buy an uppercut. While trying to catch his balance, he was sent downwards by a spinning axe kick. The floor exploded on impact. Chunks of it stuck up like statues, while others were sent flying. Rai got back up and rushed forward as a cold aura surrounded Akumamitsukai.
“Tsumentaiabunai!!! (Icy Grave)” He shouted as he slashed the doll. It hit home, but before Raidon could start his combo, it broke free.
“Dammit!” He tried to Flash Step away, but was grabbed by his throat. While the manikin was distracted with Rai, Hiroshi went in for a surprise attack. He let out a blood curlding yell as he cleaved it’s back, but was then hit by Rai as the manikin threw him. They both crashed into the wall. Got up once again, and tried to rush the doll again. This time, however, he ended up with a fist to his gut. After that, the doll unleashed a flurry of punches and sent Rai staggering. Hiro rushed in, but only ended up in the same punishment.
“Looks like I need to be serious…” He said with an evil smile, and then he slit the palm of his left hand. “Take your fill, Zachisononai.” His zanpakutos hilt began to melt away, and the blade turned blood crimson.
“Now die!!!” Hiroshi rushed in with more power. The manikin caught the blade, but was beginning to lose the struggle. Hiro landed a strong horizontal slash. The torso opened up to reveal machinery. Hiroshi aimed with a stab, but was cut off by a chop to the face. He dodged it, but blood dripped from a huge gash. He jumped in the air to reveal Raidon charging. Rai smashed the manikin in the face with a right elbow, but was nailed in the hip and sent flying. Rai stuck Akumamitsukai in the ground and hoisted himself up.
“Hiro, distract it!!” Rai ordered as an orange rune appeared under him.
“Hey over here!” Hiro rushed and stabbed the forehead. In a whirl of circuits and sparks, the machine began to go berserk. It swung, and a large crack was heard as Hiro was hit in the chest. He coughed up an abnormal amount of blood as he was sent flying and landed, but was not getting up. Blood began to pool around him.
Oh no… Dammit! “In my hand, the sword that summons eternal sleep, now honor our pact and hear my command! Animate Earth!!!” Rai shouted as giant pillars of flame erupted, engulfing the machine.
Maybe overkill, but right now, Hiroshi needs medical attention. Rai thought. But before he could even take a step, the manikin burst out from the flames, still at a high temperature. And impaled Rais left shoulder with its hand and grabbed onto his right. Rai screamed in pain as he lost function of his left arm, as well as the heat on his right shoulder. He kicked the doll back and ended up losing the bottom of his right shoe from the scorch.

Up in the observation room, the one man was watching with terror.
“Are you insane captain?! You’re just going to let them die down there?!!” He yelled at Mayuri.
“It’s all for the good of research. A few deaths are nothing.” Mayuri said as he watched the scene unfold. The man looked Hiro, who had seconds ticking to his demise, and at Raidon, whos left arm was hanging limply at his side. Then, the man burst from the room to help them.

Rai heard a door slam from above. Looking up, he saw someone leap down and separate him from the demented doll.
“This is for my brother!!!” The man shouted and slashed wildly. Nothing seemed to work. Then he tried a kido, but that only made it more insane. Rai knew they were all dead in a matter of minutes.
Invoke the plume… a voice said in the back of his head. Unless you all want to die, use it… Rai conscience screamed in the back of his head not to. However, there were only to option: Use the power, or die at the hands of Mayuris experiment. With a flick of his wrist, a white feather appeared from a black aura. He held it in his right hand, and then in front of him in an open palm. The feather began to levitate as he did so.
“Feather over the battlefield, unto me thy power yield!”
A large shockwave of dark aura and bolts shot out as the Plume turned midnight black. Cracks began to fill the floor as the shockwave erupted. Rai began to feel a burning sensation in his left arm and looked at his shoulder. It was healing, not just muscle damage, but as well as bone and nerve. He looked at his right, where a scar was left from the grip. It was fading away. Hiroshi began to get up from the floor, battered but ok.
“Huh? I’m not dead…?” He asked himself as he patted his body. But before anything else could happen, a wave of spiritual pressure that rivals Kenpachi’s erupted from the Squad 12 member. He was giving off a black afterimage as he attacked, as well as red feathers composed of spiritual pressure. Hiroshi was cheering him on as every slash hit, each one more devastating then the last. Rai, on the other hand, was feeling regretful.
Huh? We’re winning… but why do I feel guilty…? He thought. Just then, the man cleaved the doll in half. When his blade hit the ground, the world seemed to tremble. The manikin feel to both sides, finally destroyed. Hiro ran up to pat the guy on the back, but just then, the man began to scream in pain. He staggered back to the wall, and without warning, his arm went missing in an explosion of blood. Hiro steeped back in fear. Rai saw an image flash before his eyes. A picture of the man and a twin. This time, a part of his skull exploded, and Rai saw the mans family. As if a giant gun was shooting him, the man began to die a horrible death, one that wont end until his existence is gone. More images flashed as the man vanished. The man was full of giant holes when he finally erupted in a pillar of dark aura. Rai fell to the ground, almost lifeless and in tears, as the aura vanished, leaving nothing but bloodstains.

Kenpachi, and Unohana burst into the observation room.
“I-incredible!!!” Mayuri said as he stared below. “That boy has the power to unleash another’s true battle potential!!!”
“Where’s the strong one?” Kenpachi asked, looking below.
“That’s the problem. It seems once the battle is over, the power destroys the person completely…” Mayuri answered, with curiosity in his voice. Unohana looked at the scene below.
“In any case, we need to get Raidon to the barracks.” She said as Hiroshi poked Rai in the side.

Through the haze of his subconscious mind, Rai saw a figure in shadow.
I thought you could handle this, but apparently not… It said before vanishing, then Rai blacked out…
