I liked some the craziness of Ninja Scroll, but it wasn't enough for it to become a classic for me (despite it being hailed as an anime classic). Still, near the end it got pretty awesome.
Ah, now I have to watch Primer so I don't feel left out. I bet I'll solve it in one minute.
Sweet man, I'm happy to see you watched Primer! :D I was rather excited to see what you, as a movie guru, would think of it. Personally I loved it partially because I had never seen anything like it, but I wasn't sure if that was because of innovation or simply that I have not seen enough movies, lol.
And on your note of not completely knowing what's going on, probably my favourite quote about the movie: "anybody who claims [to] fully understand what's going on in Primer after seeing it just once is either a savant or a liar."
*laughs*
But yeah, do you see what I mean though? Like, I went into the movie not knowing about the whole time traveling, so when it came up, I was just like, completely blown away. That's why whenever I recommend this to people, I tell them not to read about it. And just rewatching it is amazing, because you can watch Aaron doing all of the headphones things, and putting everything together, all while looking for where each thing came into play.
Ugh, easily in my favourite movies ever personally. Man, I need to go watch it again now...

I'd rather see in shades of gray.
