Oh God, Sawyer coming out of the ocean lol. As soon as he appeared, we all said, "Did he really need to take his shirt off? I mean, really? Josh Holloway must have some bizarre stipulation in his contract or something.
Yeah, I brought up the Annie thing to my sister this morning, but she also thought Charlotte looks way too young to be Annie. The only way it makes sense if she's some weird sort of immortal like Richard Alpert ... then again, we've always seen him as an adult, and never as a child, so who knows about that. Maybe he just ages really slowly ...
At first my whole family was convinced that Ben would be the one in the coffin, but after a while I started thinking, "Wait, Bentham is a tad too obvious." So that left me at a total loss as to who it would be.
Not that I'm a Locke fan, but I almost felt bad that his moment in the spotlight ("Welcome home," etc.) got the Jack-and-Kate romance treatment. If anything, he got even more shafted. Two seconds of glory, and then straight to the coffin you go, lol. Well, he'll probably be all over the place in the flashbacks.
Lots of good lines this time around, but my favorite by far was Ben's "Very dark, Jack."
Sayid versus Keamy was one of the best hand-to-hand fight scenes on the show so far.
My usually demure mother almost died laughing in the part when a drunk and morose Juliet sees shirtless Sawyer rising out of the sea like a male version of The Birth of Venus.
Yeah, I could definitely go for evil Sun. Her acting in this episode was so impressive. At first we all figured that Jin would sacrifice himself (he had that look in his eyes), but when he started running up the stairs, I thought, oh no, you can't do it like that. No way. It was a really amazing emotional scene, but at the same time, I kind of hated the writers for it.
I think Charlotte looks a little too young to be Annie, but I wouldn't be surprised if they were related somehow. Anyway, GJ with the new characters this season, after the travesty that was... urgh, I don't even want to type their names.
