Every movie I watch goes toward the final count, whether I've seen it before or not. The vast majority of movies I watch are ones I haven't seen before, though. I think out of the 190 I watched last year, I saw 164 of them for the first time.
So when you say so many movies a year... do they all have to be new ones to count or do you also count ones you've seen before but watched again because you like them? I'm kind of curious on that count. :p
Also, Summer Wars is apparently getting a DVD release next month. Dunno if you've seen it yet, but I'm looking forward to that.
Hell, have you seen Lupin III: The Castle of Cagliostro yet? I know you like Miyazaki, but that one's probably his most obscure film and it's very unlike the rest of the Lupin III franchise, so you may have heard some off-putting things. It's a darn good movie in its own right, so it's still worth the watch.
And then go fill in the rest of your list with other Lupin III movies. There's probably at least ten and he's like the Japanese James Bond, so there's fun to be had.
MOAR EDITS: True Grit is pretty great, I recommend it. Jeff Bridges being cranky and shooting people is about as good as it gets. Dunno about Black Swan, but the internet seems to have compared it favorably to Carrie, so if that's your cup of tea, have at it.
Sorry, I work in a theater now. I feel obligated to endorse every movie I see.

Holy crap, reading your review of the Gundam 00 movie was so worth it. Oh man, makes me want to watch it just to see how terrible/funny it is.

@Ace:
Ah yeah, forgot about Brave Story. I should grab that from the BakaBT freeleech while that is still going on.
Seen and enjoyed both Summer Wars and Castle of Cagliostro! Haven't seen any of the other Lupin III flicks though. Maybe I'll look into those.
Thanks!

I think you meant, "That's what he said."
And dude, anyone watching Blazing Saddles probably wants to be offended. It is the sort of baller movie that attracts such people.
