Also, do you mind if we watch one episode a week as if it were currently airing? I'm planning on writing about the show for my blog, and I am going to make it as long and painful as possible.
I should probably bite the bullet and finally finish Shuffle! before starting this, though ...
Hm, there were still some problems, but I think the staff at AX genuinely tried to make things as easy as possible for attendees. There were a lot of delays and whatnot, unfortunately, especially in this one big room where a lot of the biggest panels took place.

Dude, let me know when you're going to watch Sister Princess and I'll join you. I downloaded it along with Sister Princess ~Re Pure~ (which I hear is much better than the original) but haven't been able to bring myself to watch it yet.
Cromartie is hit-or-miss for me -- half the time it's hilarious, and half the time I'm just like, "Huh." It was only $20, though, and it's funny enough to make that a good bargain.
Cromartie High School is another series I've always meant to pick up, but always forgot. It seems like it has the kind of off-center humor that appeals to my slightly mad side.
Oh man, don't mention bad anime, otherwise I get curious enough to watch it myself, haha. I wonder what it is about watching bad anime that's so refreshing. It's almost like a cathartic moment when you sit there thinking: "This has to be the worst anime ever made!"
They should have a spinoff centering around the father. It'd be like the second Prince of Persia game, except he's being chased by an alimony lawyer instead of the Dahaka.

How in the world could you buy one of the greatest anime ever, Mushi-shi, and one of the seemingly worst, Sister Princess, in one convention? Oh wait...
As a little sister, this shit is completely inaccurate. Have fun with it.
O_O' Sister Princess! I remember watching the first episode of that thing dubbed on some sampler disc that I've got laying about, and all the previews likewise. That is some pretty creepy shit, 'cause it's probably the only thing I can think of where a guy meets thirteen strange girls with one-trick personalities and has to spend time with each of them on a creepily deserted, but apparently populated with a town and everything, island and the main object is NOT to get into as many pants as possible. It's either for incest fetishists or people who don't know that ABC is still running The Bachelor.
That sounds like a truly awful anime. It was making my head hurt just hearing about it. You have more gaul than me for evening thinking about watching them. lol
The TV Tropes page appears to be in dire need of both a cleaning up and a huge-ass subjectivity purge, since it was clearly written by one of the three fans this show actually has. The problem is, someone would have to actually watch this shit in order to do so.
Man, if you did video reviews, this would be awesome.
But your anger and bile and dread were funny enough in written form, so definite points out to you. Once you mentioned this on Twitter, I ended up looking it up on TV Tropes. The thing they left out (or that I missed via skimming) was that they all have different moms. Keep being horny, guys!
Holy shit that is some terrible writing in that letter. Bet it pales in comparison to the shows script, though. I think if I ever met anyone so averse to pronouns that they refer to themselves as "princess" in the third person every other sentence, I would just instinctively set them on fire.

That's fine with me. I'll be looking forward to the raging on your blog.
And yeah, we do still need to finish Shuffle.

Totally watched Sister Princess in my first wave of serious anime otaku watchings. My goodness, was that one a piece of work . . .
How did you find AX after all that dramas went on with staff and stuff? Different?
