The Hays Code was such a terrible thing for movies. ;A;
I really want to watch Freaks, but haven't got around to it. Is there an uncut version I highly doubt it, but it's worth asking or will I have to stick with the edited one? :O
OH! A movie you need to watch: The Man From Nowhere . It's one of the best movies I've seen in a very long time. Seriously great.

Oh God... the Hays Code can bite me. That movie, for all we know, was one of the most awesome things the 1930's put out... but we'll never know. Nooooooo, they were too worried about hurting their morals to have fun or even just slap a "Not Suitable for Children, the Fragile and Stereotypically Modest Grandmas" on their posters. B/

No, I believe all the cut footage no longer exists. If it did, someone would have released an unedited version by now.
And I'll keep that movie in mind!
