I generally know when I'm going to watch a bad anime and when I'm going to watch a good anime if the show is completed and has been dissected by a bajillion people. Ongoing stuff is another beast completely ...
But, yes, I knew Sister Princess would be crap before I watched it. With a premise like that how could it not be crap?
I don't know why, but I'm sometimes tempted to watch bad anime. However, I get pretty frustrated when I watch an anime that I thought would be good, but turned out to be bad, haha.
