Grr... baseball... I'm still reeling over how the Tigers, stacked with the talent and know-how, turned into this season's AL dead herring.
Well, this just means tickets will be readily available again! ^_^ I loved it when I could go for eight bucks a man and still be able to get into the nicer, lower seating after a few innings or so. The bad part about that though is Indians fans, since a day trip up here is cheaper than a home game down there. Collectively obnoxious bastards...
...and yes, I do believe that the Cubs would have caused something short of nuclear holocaust had they won the World Series. That's like the Lions winning the Super Bowl. It just doesn't happen. There needs to be divine intervention for that kind of shit to go down.
Would Chicago blow up first, or would the world blow up first due to the Armageddon that would surely follow a Cubs World Series victory? I am thinking the world would explode first. Just a gut feeling.
You know, to be honest...I think that if the Cubs ever got to far as the World Series, and then actually won it, Chicago just might blow up from the mind fack. It's just so...incomprehensible.
