I love some of the older movies like North by Northwest and The Man Who Knew Too Much. It's great how they rely on excellent acting instead of gimmicky special effects. =3
My parents have The Man Who Knew Too Much. I don't remember it very well since it's been a while. ^^ I remember it being kind of creepy since it was about some kid being kidnapped to keep someone from talking. oO I should watch it again too. XD
You definitely should! It's a good introduction to Alfred Hitchcock, because it's not as weird or creepy as some of his other movies, haha. (This is, of course, assuming you have not seen any of his movies before. xD)
Yes, it is. Generally most of the movies I'll watch are ones I have not seen before. If it's a rewatch, I'll take care to mention it, like I did with North by Northwest.

Oh, man, I cannot sit through It's A Wonderful Life AT ALL. D8 The whole thing just makes me miserable.
North By Northwest, though, is always great. I, however, first watched it before watching a bunch of spy movies, so it was pretty kick-ass the first time around... and that's how it should always be.
Jimmy Stewart is a great actor -- his heyday was in the 1930s to the early 1960s. Some of his best movies I've seen include Rear Window, Vertigo, The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, The Philadelphia Story and Rope. I've also heard great things about -- but haven't seen -- Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, Winchester '73, Harvey, The Man Who Knew Too Much and Anatomy of a Murder.

Dude, North by Northwest isn't about the plot, it's about the characters! All that spy stuff is the MacGuffin! But yeah, Cary Grant is pretty hilarious in it.

Princess Mononoke...ugh. My favorite movie. Ever. Of all time. I've watched that thing at least a hundred times I'd say, lol. SOOO GOOD.
I'd rather see in shades of gray.

My Neighbor Totoro makes the world aright. I still like Spirited Away the most, of his movies; however, the former is a great little film.

The only Jimmy Stewart movies I've seen are Rear Window and Strategic Air Command.

North by Northwest really is a must-see, and as far as Miyazaki goes, so is Mononoke. Solid batch of movies recently.
You've tried to watch it the legit way. Just download Wonderful Life already. =P

Hahahah, so Waitress and Princess Mononoke are related in some bizarro way? Good job, Shin. :P
You know, I have yet to see all of My Neighbor Totoro myself. This must be remedied eventually.
