Am randomly looking through your backlog and I COMPLETELY AGREE WITH EVERYTHING YOU SAID ABOUT KALEIDO STAR, AND OMG, YURI TOTALLY WAS AWESOME IN S2. Def. made up for how much of a bitch he was in S1. ^^;
I've forgot about Higashi no Eden! I was going to start watching that, but I ended up getting very distracted by other things. I must make things aright sometime soon.
DB by themselves tends to have a lot of little mistakes, and usually not the greatest source to work with, since they speedsub, but overall they're not bad. Better than some other groups that try for quality, which is pretty sad.
And it appears [CoalGG] did just put out a v2 from Tokyo MX source. Another torrent in the queue, will compare later.
It's a decent sub, now that I've actually watched it. Honestly my only real problem with DB is they tend to attention whore a bit. They're alright as far as actual subbing goes.
It's definitely an interesting episode. Looking forward to seeing how this new season goes.
It's a DB/Live-eviL joint, keep in mind. Live-eviL, despite the tacky mirror caps in the name, is a high quality group.
Though gg and CoalGuys also tend to be good. gg can just be rather fickle at times.
Of course, I haven't actually watched either yet. [DB_L-E] released a new version a bit ago using a higher quality raw so I'm downloading that. The [CoalGG] version uses the crappy Sun TV raw – dunno if they'll bother releasing a v2 from better source.
gg kinda lost my vote back when they vanished off the face of the earth four episodes prior to the end of Tales of the Abyss, so I think I'll stick with Dattebayo for now. :/
I haven't gotten around to watching most of these episodes, but I did see FMA. "WHAT BEAUTIFUL SCENERY, RIGHT AL?" Stilted comedy is wonderful, and there are plenty of moments like that with Ed.
The story's really moving along, just like the manga, much quicker than the first series. Philosopher's Stone is people?! ALREADY?! Wow.
Miss Anonymous: ARE YOU CALLING THE PLIGHT OF PIZZA EVERYWHERE STUPID?!?!? >:O
gg and CoalGuys teamed up to put out what will probably be a quality release (I haven't watched it yet, but considering the track record of the two groups, it should be solid). It has a good ratio right now, too, so you should be able to download it quickly.
I managed to track down a sub of the new Suzumiya episode, but it's Dattebayo, the Troll King of subbers. Still gonna watch it, but eh.
I'm starting to notice more how Armstrong tends to shed his top at the slightest provocation. Might be because it's not quite as easy to notice in black & white, but it also may be that he just didn't do it as often in the manga.
Either way it's hilarious and I love it, so I don't mind if it's not true to the original in that aspect.

@bellpickle:
I wholeheartedly encourage this trek into my previous posts. :O
And, yeah, Yuri was a total douchefuck in season one, haha. Makes it all the better when he becomes such a badass in season two.
Love thy Evangelion.
