Moar Utena Spamming
Watched a couple more episodes of Utena before Movie Sign, and I might watch a few more before turning in tonight. Goooooooo Utena!
Haha. Um, so one thing I am liking a lot is there seems to be no ceiling to how much I like these characters. Every episode I like them all exponentially more, even if they just appear for a few seconds and do nothing. Utena is still rockin'. I'm loving Juri, especially after episode 17. Miki is cool. Nanami is still a roaring pile of awesome. Tsuwabuki is a cool little guy. The sole exception to this is Anthy, which is mainly because I am not sure what to think of her at this moment in the series.
Anyway, episodes 17 and 18 get back into the swing of things after the awesome comedy episode. One would think I would get tired of every episode having the same progression (character intro ----> super angst and drama ----> "LET'S THROW DOWN, UTENA" ----> Utena kicks ass ----> HAPPY~), but it doesn't seem like this will get old, like, ever. Even all the angst is enjoyable, since I like the characters so much. Juri lesbian drama? Cool with me. OPEN YOUR LOCKET.
Also ... Evil!Shiori in ep17? May I say: daaaaaaaaaaamn.
I mean, Shiori is pretty cute on her own. But after she turns to the dark side? Um, yes plz. Moar btw.
Yeah. She can go ahead and wear that Black Rose Signet forever as far as I am concerned. :)
In conclusion, Utena has burrowed its way deep into my soul and will never leave. This is not a problem. *will probably go DVD hunting after he finishes the series* >>;;;
