Yeah, I am. But when I still saw the world through the eyes of a child, things were different. I often wonder if the world really has changed so drastically or if my changing viewpoint has contributed to that.

I can do math okay, but I never liked it. I'm not good at it and I was always slower with it than most of my classmates. It was just a rather miserable subject. In addition to that, I understand its necessity, but I hate how our school system focuses primarily on that and highly values students who are good at math. The world needs people who are skilled in a wide variety of areas, so I think that everyone should be allowed to explore and cultivate their own skills.

I hadn't realized that, but you're right, the overall design of things has changed drastically since I was young.

Yeah, it's really hard for artists these days, even from a young age. School systems are like factories and value very specific skillsets.
