Last year, "someone" erased all of my digital works because they thought the only way to get rid of viruses was to dump the whole thing. That was like a million hours worth of work down the toilet. Needless to say, we now have a MAC and an external HD. And if this ever happens again, I swear to all that is holy, I will pop his eyes out with a rusty spork.

You sound just like me. I got my 1st comp in december 2004.
I was so happy. then in 2006 it died. Had disk crashed. I had nightmares. All my animes, songs, pics, all gone......
Well am over it now.
I dun attach too much importance to files now.
the reason i commented is coz I understand the pain of losing your precious files.
I may not be smart enough to do anything, but I am dumb enough to try anything. ;p
