The title "VORTEX" means 渦 [= swirl, vortex]. Surely the music gives you a swirling, "turning round and round" kind of feeling, but what about the lyrics?
Ruki: As for the tunes and the lyrics, they're not always linked to each to each other and it's not like I get inspiration from the tunes in particular. The kind of feeling we're expressing this time in the lyrics is "When you're alive, dissatisfaction is unavoidable, isn't it?".
Reita: Concerning the lyrics, there are various reactions from the fans. There are people who are like "Give us a translation of the English lyrics", too. Even us [the other Gaze-members], since we don't understand the meaning of Ruki's English lyrics we ask him to translate them for us and thus we get to see things a lil' bit from the fans' point of view (laughs)

Ruki: The second song, “UNCERTAIN SENSE” gives you a European kind of feeling, while the third one “BREAK ME” has more of an America kind of feeling to it.

Reita: That’s very roughly put (*laughs*)

Kai: But he’s not wrong (*laughs*)

Ruki: The second is industrial and the third is hard-rock. In 3 countries (*laughs*)
