Hey All, my real name is Dave, and I originally joined theO as a wallpaper maker, but now I've been more focused on fan art and improving my work. I've been a member for about 10 years now, including various name changes lol.
As for my anime tastes, I'm a huge fan of sci-fi, action/shounen, and mecha. My first ever complete manga series was Love Hina, which I still rank as my favorite, and its also what pushed me to draw more. Akamatsu-sensei's Negima is also highly ranked on my list and also acts as a source of inspiration (although I prefer his style from Volumes 13 & 14 of Love Hina a little more lol).
Currently, I'm reading Bleach and UQ Holder!. I haven't been following much anime that's been airing lately since most of it is seemingly loli fanservice-type shows. I try and follow any Gundam series that I can, and I was actually impressed with the Build Fighters series; it focuses more on camaraderies and rivalries that are surprisingly well written. It's pretty childish, but I get a kick out of all the easter eggs hidden within it. I also own a variety of Miyazaki's movies due to their charm and underlying messages about our world and the environment.
I also game a little bit when I'm not drawing or at work/school; I mainly play RPGs and fighters, but I have dabbled into 3rd person shooters (Vanquish, Crysis series), some action adventure games, and racing (Gran Turismo 5). I also enjoy RTSs, but I pretty much only play Starcraft II on and off.
As for school/employment, I am currently employed with the electronics retailer The Source up in Canada, and I'm attending college to become a Medical Lab Technician. I'll be done around October 2015, then I can work in any diagnostic lab/hospital to help diagnose diseases!

Hey All! Well, I seem to be back into a creative mood, after being on a submissions hiatus over the weekend (my obsessive compulsive-ish mind tries to make me submit a work everyday:P). So if you have any ideas or requests/ideas for walls/cards, let me know.
And a heads up, more 00 walls are up if your interested. And it seems my drawings are being well recieved, so I'll probably post more when the submission limit allows me too.
And blah, I have to be the Gream Reaper of mice on Thursday for the sake of science...I get to grind up intestines for protein analysis. Ah well, I guess its a good cause (Cystic Fibrosis research), and this protein is suppost to help with the disease's intestinal issues (you more or less need a laxative if you want to live, for mice anyway). Anyway, that's enough crypticness for now.

Thank God for that, my eyes were so used to not being corrected that everything looked SOOO clear, lol.
Now, as for the actual content the title is based on; I like the Masuaro's design as a mobile suit, minus a few points, like the horns and non-existent face. So, I plan on making my own version of it, but to get a feel for it, and did my first (and probably last) actual fanart! Actual fanart is a little annoying because it reminds me of still life drawings from art class (hated those due to such restrictiveness), but I still enjoyed myself while doing it. I posted the sketch along with another Seravee wall.
P.S Shinmaru, I saw the english dub of 00 (episode 25), and I agree that it was pretty well done, but the guy who does Setsuna's voice seems to sound TOO intense when he does those kinds of scenes.
EDIT: Looks like the Seravee wall was TOO simple, and was declined, lol.
So we're in the middle of February, and almost all the snow is gone! RAWRRR! I get to walk in the rain to the lab today, and potentially be really bored if our mice aren't old enough to seperate from their parents. Ah well, being coupped up inside did give me more ideas for a new 00 card, involving Feldt (I'm a little bit of a fan, LOL), and I uploaded another sketch in case your interested.
So, I went to chatroom again for another go (this time Kastom was there too, so I knew at least one person). It was better this time, until just before I left, I tried to help someone with a download, but failed (thanks Shinmaru and Shishou for da pats on the back!) Apparently bigger and better crowds pop up later in the week, so I'll try dropping by then.
Ah yes, Kastom suggested I post some of my sketches (I love to draw, and have alot more free time to do so now), and so I posted a sample sketch, check it out if you like. Depending on how it is recieved, I might post more. I also made another 00 wall (Seravee this time, so I've covered all the main Gundams now) and a card of Roy Mustang (Kastom, you might like this one). Well, I must to work now. Have a good one!
What's up all? Hope everyone's weekend was alright (Kastom, not too tired from da trip, are you?). Mine consisted of hunting for an optometrist to fix my glasses (a lense popped out cuz I forgot them in my labcoat, and they came shooting out when I put it away
), drawing, watching Advent Children for fun, and finding source material for a new wall I'm working on. By the way, more walls are up (including a Haruhi one!) and a Tales of the Abyss Mystic Artes inspired Seraphim Gundam tribute thingy.
Now, about the chatroom, I snuck in using my Backlash Wave account, but I didn't have that great of a time (on my first try at least, haven't tried since). At first it was alright (kittens 3 was really nice, and somegirl too), but then I kinda felt ignored...Maybe I was just in the wrong section? Anyway, I'll have to try again. Oh, and if any of you think of an episode where there's a good profile shot of the 00 Gundam, please let me know, I've been trying to find one. Now I should think of getting to bed, I've gotta focus cuz I'm injecting mice with protein tomorrow...Wouldn't want to stab myself.
EDIT: Did everyone see that their making a Vesperia MOVIE!? To my knowledge, this is the first actual Tales movie. The quality will be RIDICULOUS!
