Thanks anna-chan! Sticking needles in people you know is weird at first, but after a few tries you learn to just treat them as a patient and not someone you know. For me it came naturally since I learned to detach myself from the mice I worked on when I was at University.
Well, there won't be much awkwardness between us since her last day at work is Sunday, and that's the next time I see her. She's going through something similar I myself went through a few years ago with insomnia and not knowing what to do with herself in life; she's pretty fed up with alot of things right now which is why I figure she changed so suddenly. I might try and write her in a few months time after she's had time to simmer down and figure herself out.
Thanks for looking at my artwork too! I really should be following yours more closely to return the favour lol.
I'm not sure which I'd find more unsettling, having my classmates stick needles in me, or sticking needles into my classmates... But then I suppose you have to get used to these things if you are studying it!
As for your friend, well that sucks she suddenly changed like that. I hope things don't become too awkward between the two of you, though I suppose that is a little inevitable. I think the best thing is to just continue being pleasant, but to give her some space until this blows over, or resolves in some way.
As for losing your critic, I still enjoy seeing your art on here ^^
That stinks! She didn't have to be so... how do I put it? Is rude the word?
I think there must be something in the air, because a friend of mine had his girlfriend do the exact same thing to him (though with much more devastating-teenagery-y drama involved).
Too bad for her, because you're a really nice guy, and it's her loss to not want to be friends with you any more.
Eww, hematology...? (I'm kind of biased, I hate needles with a burning passion and avoid getting blood drawn like the plague, but good for you!)
Well, at least the bruising has been minimal!

@elricbrothersfan:
I wouldn't call it rude, I'd say it was more...abrupt? She's got attitude and is very moody, so I guess I have to say that I'm not that surprised.
I used to hate needles as well, but oddly enough getting stabbed at least twice a week you get used to it. Now I don't hate needles as much lol
