Hasen't the summer gone fast? I haven't even gotten out of June yet. That's what it feels like. In some ways I feel like I'm not ready for school but at the same time, I look forward to it. At least I'll be able to sleep more than when I work.
I've had that happen when I write too. Actually, that's usually what happens. I think up little ideas and then try to build on them. It's actually pretty hard. But a new direction in Two Across will be good. Breaking out of the usual! Good for you!
