Welcome to my world.

I'm SomeGuy, 29 years old, residing in Vancouver, BC, Canada. I've studied English Literature, Chinese Martial Arts, and am currently pursuing careers in writing - possibly even in the anime industry itself.

And I work for this site.

And you should be watching Beck: Mongolian Chop Squad.
Or watching Ranma 1/2.
Or learning about the Shinsengumi.
Or planning to visit Vancouver, The Best Place On Earth (actual marketing motto).

Here at the "Smallville" page, I have my personal blog where I'll post about anything and everything. If ya need me or otherwise need to know anything from/about me, here's where I'll be.

If you're really looking for my more professional, site-type stuff, you wanna head over my "Metropolis" world.

There's a rap about it?!?!

Most people who know me know I've an obsession with random, obscure movie things. Well, here's one of 'em laid out informatively (and in song!)

Other than that . . . I set up a new combination modem/wireless-router for the house. Damn those are pains to set up . . .

It's Almost May Already?!

So . . . Ocean e-mailed me yesterday, asked me about my current schedule and stuff as a means of fore-thinking for planning potentials.

That's gotta be a plus.

Other than that, I went downtown to have a drink with a Canadian Military guy I met during my Europe trip; they were in the area for a few weeks of field exercises and then had a day of leave in Vancouver. Good group of guys, those Princess Pat's . . .

Annnnnnd . . . that's really about it for now. I'll think of something more amazing to blog about next time, maybe.

More YouTube Hilarity . . .

The other OSCgumi people got their revenge on me with a 7 second video of me playing cowbell. Personally, I'm just sad there wasn't more . . . but alas.

In other news, my "Houki Boshi on Mario Paint" video is OVER 9000 VIEWS.

That is all. All y'all have a good Tuesday, now.

This was a fun weekend . . .

So Saturday we had our Shinsengumi Rock Band meeting. Watched some anime, played some Rock Band . . . ate some pizza, watched some YouTube . . . it was a really good night.

And yes, I took some YouTube. And yes, everyone else in the group hates me for doing so now, probably.

Umm . . . other than that, Sunday I went out to see Forbidden Kingdom and had the theater sell out RIGHT when I got to the counter. Burn, huh? So I ended up getting a drink with my friend instead before coming home (where my brother had friends over playing Rock Band and who made me sing with them a bit).

As for anything and everything Rock Band related right now . . . all I can say is:

"This was a triumph! I'm making a note here: HUGE SUCCESS!"

All of that aside . . . look what I'm going to next month:

That should be fun, I bet . . .

So, funny story . . .

I was up 'til past 5am last night watching the newer episodes of Smallville. Damn, a lot's happened since Christmas . . .

That said, my eyes feel baggy and now I gotta prep the house for Rock Band . . . peace.
