Welcome to my world.

I'm SomeGuy, 29 years old, residing in Vancouver, BC, Canada. I've studied English Literature, Chinese Martial Arts, and am currently pursuing careers in writing - possibly even in the anime industry itself.

And I work for this site.

And you should be watching Beck: Mongolian Chop Squad.
Or watching Ranma 1/2.
Or learning about the Shinsengumi.
Or planning to visit Vancouver, The Best Place On Earth (actual marketing motto).

Here at the "Smallville" page, I have my personal blog where I'll post about anything and everything. If ya need me or otherwise need to know anything from/about me, here's where I'll be.

If you're really looking for my more professional, site-type stuff, you wanna head over my "Metropolis" world.

Gail, check your e-mail!!!

Damn, I really need to get that Sakura-Con meet-up stuff planned . . .

Asian-Canadian Bachelor Milestone . . .

It took me about a year, but I'm pretty sure this is one of those milestones of living away from the ancestral home:

Friday, March 25th, 2011. I completely cooked off my very first giant sack of rice. Granted, the 8kg bag is maybe only the second-largest sack, but still.

Ah, delicious rice . . .

In other news, yesterday was the first serious cosplay workshop night where just about everyone got some good productivity done. I'm happy. We may be ready for con' after all!

Good week for viral hilarity . . .

So we have one 13 year old girl singing possibly the worst, most banal song in the history of pop music on one hand . . .

. . . and we have a (former) UCLA student not realizing what happens when you post yourself saying something stupid on the internet . . .

. . . . . man. This week has been all kinds of funny.

Also, I made my new Flynn pants. They're a little stretchy. This could be useful to me . . .

Put Ya Guns On!!!

I put a guide on that assassin's blade so it pops out straight now. Good times.

So two things in life have arisen to complicate cosplay and other regular life activities.

The first is allergy season. Hay fever is trying to make me its bitch, and I don't like that. Gonna hafta start hittin' up the Claritin again . . .

The second, well . . . as you know, I'm a big fan of the Total War games, and, well . . .

I'm playing as the Date Clan. I've yet to get motorcycle horses just yet. Also, the Shogun is a dick and told everyone else to attack me.

This is gonn' eat up some time . . .

Cosplay Progress: I has a blade . . .

Bwahaha . . . . .

All I need to do now is pretty it up with a bit of detailing on the blade as well as grafting a pistol into it as well. Probably.

Again, happy belated birthday, Jed'.
