I mostly didn't make this, to be fair. I did help with building the other bits though; this is a 23-person project, so I'm really just a cog in the machine.
Still . . . DANANA NAH, NAH, NAH, DANANA, NAHHHH!!!
Con's also in like, two weeks. Shit.
Guys . . . why have I chosen this as a summer cosplay?
This is actually legitimately the most ridiculous looking character I have ever wanted to cosplay.
Everyone else in the game has a nice normal "on the ground" pose. But nooo, Joseph had to go off and be special.
Also, crazy eyes.
Goddamnit, Joseph . . .
Cosplay plans for Sakura-Con look to be Nathan Drake, Alfheim!Kirito, and . . . um . . . Prince Demand.
Drake is Drake. But I may have a friend skulking about as a Chloe, so it'd be worth our whiles to get some hilarious shots of us together in daytime light for once.
Alfheim!Kirito came about after a great deal of unspoken unease between myself and another friend. Sometimes you just really feel like there aren't enough characters in a series, y'know? And I know how ridiculous that sounds when describing SAO . . . but apparently it happened. Go fig.
As for Prince Demand . . . . . well, the girls all wanted to do Sailor Moon cosplays. I still had spots to fill in. Thankfully, I found out about the Black Moon Clan, otherwise I'd have to go as one of the ultra-fabulous Shitennou guys . . . and I think I would just really prefer to not have to do that, y'know? Also, I don't remember much of the episodes involving the Black Moon Clan, so I need to do ressearch. Otherwise, I'll just be a fake geek guy.
And that would be hilarious.
Oh! While on the subject of cosplay, look what I made for a special Christmas present that a bunch of people roped together by "Fuckyeahuncharted" on tumblr made for Naughty Dog!
It all got put together into a book and package and shipped off to the game makers. It was fun to be a part of that.
Heh, lookit these assholes all dressed up like weirdos:
Good times . . .
I'm on G4TV!
And we're on Kotaku!
Oh hey, my buddy's on Kotaku too!
Oh cosplay . . . sadly, no one from the Uncharted area took my picture. That would have been good . . .
