Welcome to my world.

I'm SomeGuy, 29 years old, residing in Vancouver, BC, Canada. I've studied English Literature, Chinese Martial Arts, and am currently pursuing careers in writing - possibly even in the anime industry itself.

And I work for this site.

And you should be watching Beck: Mongolian Chop Squad.
Or watching Ranma 1/2.
Or learning about the Shinsengumi.
Or planning to visit Vancouver, The Best Place On Earth (actual marketing motto).

Here at the "Smallville" page, I have my personal blog where I'll post about anything and everything. If ya need me or otherwise need to know anything from/about me, here's where I'll be.

If you're really looking for my more professional, site-type stuff, you wanna head over my "Metropolis" world.

Moving day . . .

I don't have a fulltime roommate starting today. Everyone wish her well now!

I hope you enjoy UBC, Alexa. Good luck!

Just checking in . . .

. . . . I deleted my post by accident. Damn you, PS3 browser text! Anyway, quick updates since I'm still without my PC:

-Computer people haven't called me back yet, leads me to believe it was a crazy bad problem. That sucks. I miss my easy internet.
-We're doing Fat Princess cosplay, learning to sew from amenonine (she's on the site). It's hilarious and awesome.
-Alexa got me Batman: Arkham Asylum for my birthday. Epic game is epic.
-Picked up Green Lantern: First Flight. It's like Training Day... IN SPACE! Also on the special features . . .
- . . this fall they're making "Superman/Batman: Public Enemies" in animated form! This has me super excited. I'll blog why next time.
-Kei has become the newest Fan Words editor on the site. This is a good thing. THis is a very good thing. Thanks Kei!
-Adam's picking up my slack on the podcast. Also a good thing. Thanks Adam!

And now I have to help a guy move. See ya when I do!

(Also, I'm exceedingly glad you can plug a USB keyboard into a PS3 and it'll WORK)

So Funny Story...

Y'know that computer I got at the start of the month?

Yeah, it decided to stop powering up. I need to get that taken care of now. So don't expect captions or anything just yet.

That said, I really wish I had that PS3 thumb keyboard right now.

FML.

Back Later, Destroying Poland-Lithuania . . .

Hi guys.

In case for some reason people were wondering where the heck I've been the past while . . .

Friday Afternoon Politics

Popped out this afternoon a bit just to run some errands. Listened to the radio. Learned something interesting.

Apparently, at present, HIV positive individuals wishing to enter the United States via the Canadian border are barred from doing so - the example was a man in November who was straight-up told by a border official, "you are not welcome here."

The joys of the old administrations, I suppose. In any case, people are realizing this isn't cool, and border cities all across both countries are having protests this Sunday. Apparently the travel ban is already pretty close to being overturned, but that's just going by what I've read these past 20 minutes.

Kinda interesting. Here's hoping it ends well.
