I'm someone who knows the stupidity of StupidStore first-hand along-side you to recommend you hold out until Janet goes on leave...which I bet is probably what Yuliya/Jasmine and Georgie is "reconsidering" you to do...
Hey, I'm on your side...don't really want you to be like Sing...

Good luck! I would say for now to take it one step at a time. Wait to see if you acutally get considered for the position (though I have no doubt of that) and if you are offered the position, then you can think a little more on it. I hope everything goes well.
mmm well that's a really hard decision... but if all you have to do is stick it out till January to have a full time spot why not wait? Unless you don't like your current job or something. I really don't know where you work now...
good luck with your decision James. I know i really didn't say anything to help and i wish i could but i haven't any idea
Here's my moronic opinion. Take it with a grain of salt.
I can tell you from experience, taking this new position is for the best. It sounds like you already have the skills and experience, so you probably nailed it the second you signed up for it. Even if the money's only a little better than your last position, the experience you get from it will be more than beneficial in the future. Think of your resume, as well. Simply having the word "supervisor" written on it would look great. On the same side, being a highly-skilled individual who refused to advance might make future employers back away. You have the opportunity right now, so jump on it before someone else does!
Agh man, I hate it when seemingly simple decisions become complex. You've got a tough choice in front of you.
But the way I see it: both options have pros and cons, so I'm betting that either way you eventually decide to go, you will be happy with your decision. So in th end, you just need to decide which position has the pros/cons that are more important to you.
Think on it for a while, and I'm sure you will eventually come to a realization.
First of all, I'd say that if you believe in a deity, pray about the decision. Ask for guidance. Also, look at where you think you would be happier. I know money is an important thing, but if you're doing a job ONLY for the money, it becomes a chore that you will grow to hate. My mom learned that one the hard way. She's back at her old job now, and when she went back, she took a cut in pay, but she's happier.

@Robin Van Percy:
He's got some truck-loading dealy that pays hella well. Think he got it through what's-his-name former receiver. Seems pretty happy about it.
Also, who might this be, to be knowin' names of people I've been tryin' to keep out of the spotlight?

I'd rather see in shades of gray.
