Redeem your manliness? This is the guy who claims that Ranma 1/2 is his guilty pleasure. What the hell dude? Sissy bastard.
Seeing as I only lived in an apartment for the better part of a couple months in college before moving on to an off campus trailer, I didnt really have too much of an experience for the noise of those in close proximity. Im sure you'll all get used to each other soon.
I still need to get COD:MW2, probably in a couple weeks when I get paid again. Right now, Im full bore into Dragon Age apart from trying to get back into school.
It is good to see CasusalGuy back, ProfoundGuy is nice, but too much of him isnt good for anyone.
And yeah, "Welcome to Paradise" should be your new theme song for a while.
Ah, yes, I can relate to your living situation. Not soundproof at all despite having concrete floors and ceilings. You get used to it eventually, I suppose. As for the weather...well, we live in rainy areas, so you sort of have to like it, right?
But anyway, it was nice to get a casual blog from you. Feels like it's been a long time.
Hehe. I actually picked up Days of Future Past maybe over a decade ago. Nice trade, was very different from the cartoon version.
Nah, they were the first couple trades of "Wolverine: First Class". Essentially, stories of Kitty going "Aw Logan, you're a short, old grumpy fuddy-duddy... now let me in on the action!" And then him going "Grumble-grumble... GRAHHHHH!!!!" before he cuts something only to later feel bad about it because it might have been Kitty. It's a littly cutesy, but hey, considering I also picked up the trade for Luke Skywalker and Mara Jade's wedding, well . . . could be worse.
That Ra's Al Ghul one should redeem my manliness, though.
I hope you don't take offense to this, but as I read the description of the noise issue in your apartment, I could think of nothing but Green Day's "Welcome to Paradise". It seemed only natural.
Don't you know, the weather down in the Houston area's been so wonky (which, according to spellckeck, is a real word. Who knew?) We haven't had rain in a Dog's age, but it's been overcast for months. To quote Ice Cube "Ain't seen the sun in 66 dayz!" On top the that, it'll be freezing in the morning, and an inferno in the afternoon, then back to freezing in the evening! I feel like dragging around my wardrobe so I'll be prepared. Gotta love Texas weather.
A comic-con, huh? That had to be fun. You had to have picked up at least a few interesting stories. The last con I went to was Oni-Con a few weeks ago, and it was like walking through the word's most oddly-dressed mosh pit. Seriously, I elbowed some fool dressed as Rock Lee, and I didn't even bat an eyelash. Ah, "the Killing Joke". Good book! Is there no character Alan Moore cannot write for? That Wolverine book sounds like "Days of Future Past". Am I right? Do I get a prize?
Glad to see ol' SG is doing alright! That's why you're a killer, my man. Take it easy, pal!
...even though I have no business spending extra money on games and stuff right now...
Oh, I sure know how that goes. Just picked up Borderlands on Friday, lol!
Ugh, I know how it goes with loud apartments. Well, not so much the hearing other people, but being the loud ones, lol. My last one apparently was built as an experiment to see how far sound can travel through a building, and as such, whenever I played Halo, or spoke in more than a whisper, I'd have people from the other side of the building telling me I was being too loud.
Blah, hope it's only a one way sound thing for you.

Did you manage to fix your lamp yet? Or is it still hanging around in the corner like modern art?

Still, nice on your new place!
I'd rather see in shades of gray.

Dude, your apartment sounds like a bomb of noise is about ready to go off (inside and out) at any moment. Lucky you!
