One of my best friends is a nine :] I typed her though, so it's possible that she may not be, but she seems like a nine for sure. I came to love the enneagram last summer. Thought I was a six, and now I'm certain that I am a four :o
About nines though xD
I can really appreciate how accepting they are, but I can't help ignore their dislike for confrontation... Being able to say what one needs to say directly to another's face would seriously help resolve most situations.

“Listen until I finish speaking, even though I meander a bit.” Okay that actually made me laugh out loud for real. A bit? You long winded bastard. Not that you don’t already know that I love it though. These things are turning out pretty damn fun to read.
Myers-Briggs is another personality/preference thingy (they call it a "type indicator") based on four categories: extroversion/introversion, sensing/intuition, thinking/feeling, and judgment/perception. Basically, how you see the world, how you make decisions, stuff like that. I took a test for it when I was doing career planning way back when.
"ENFP" means I'm more of an extroverted, intuitive, feeling and perceiving person:
-I gain energy/motivation from being around others.
-Rather than just going on what I can observe in things, I like to see the potential/possibility in things, or how they connect beyond just what they are. So instead of saying "there is an apple on the plate", I would probably think "that apple on that plate looks tasty!".
-When making decisions, I want to go with intuition and empathy for others as to what works best for everyone rather than just making decisions based on rules or what's practical/logical.
-Instead of planning early and making decisions right away to give closure and a sense of control/completion, I play things loose, keep my options open and withhold judgement in case situations change.
Hehehe, well, well, this really explains a lot, yes. It really describes you very well. I'll pay closer atention from now on. And thank you for the mention, LOL.
Good to know. Here's some secret knowledge I gathered from all this:
-SG is a badass muthuh who don't take crap from nobody, not even yo mama.
-SG is a guy you can rely on.
-SG has a sharp wit that I both respect and envy the hell out of.
-SG has what is paramount to a Cult of Personality in my eyes. Let us thank Comrade James for this wonderful day!

Peacemaker? Wow, it worked for you.
I keep forgetting what I get on the Myers-Briggs. I do remember it was the same type as Joan of Arc the first time I took it back in High School.

Man, you Nines are startin' to stink up the place with your NINE-itude.
But seriously, this does sound like you. lol
EDIT: Oh, and last time I took the Myers-Briggs test (YEARS ago), I believe I was an ISTJ.
