My whole life, I always thought of myself as being Asian, but it really wasn't until I got to China that I realized that I'm not Asian. Asian Americans really are their own breed. Even the ones who still speak the language aren't really Asian. There's one girl in my program who I would argue is less Asian than I am, even though her Chinese is pretty fluent. It's interesting...

most of my friends are asian and make fun of the fact that I'm more asian than they are :C I know a lot about them but rather than accepting me it makes me stand out even more.

I definitely get ya, since I've gone through the whole "Mexican ... but not really" thing my whole life. With me, it was just weird because people never went out of their way to make me feel weird or unwanted or inferior because I wasn't as in tune with the culture or the language or whatever as they were; it's just that you can't help but feel different, especially when it seems as if everyone's in on something, and you're odd man out.

What's it like being in a kindergarten glass? :V
And *pats*. That's sad to hear, of course, but I'm also kind of interested by it as a sociological kind of thing.
BUT HEY, YOU BELONG HERE WITH US! As weirdos we will band together! *pie'd*

I agree with Missay, we weirdos need to stick together. Id say to try and not let it bug you too much, but its never easy.
