As far as the riots and looting goes, its really sad. I really dont know how to elaborate much more than that. Seeing "fans" do stuff like this win or lose just makes no sense, and embarrasses me for being a sports fan myself. I wish people wouldn't be so goddamned stupid and carry themselves with a little bit of dignity. I was pissed the Bears lost the Superbowl in 2005, but I didnt set cars on fire. I was bummed when the Bears lost to the Packers last season, but I didnt break down storefront windows looking to get a new TV.

But unfortunately, a majority of people it seems dont care how they are perceived if they act as part of a mob start to cry because a team lost. Some people live and die with their teams, and that is sad. There lives wont be any different, but they'll make themselves believe the contrary through any means necessary.

I really did not think I would type that much. In any case, just take care of yourself and try not to let the idiots bug you too much.

I saw the news today and thought of you, so I got online to see if you were ok & around at all.
I feel bad for all of those stores and the people who didn't want to get involved. How can a simple sport turn into something like that? Yes there's always young idiots, but win or lose, it's really not worth the amount of damage the riots have caused. I hope it has already died down. They have not said much on the news, but i hope you and your family stay safe.

Dude, those are just bandwagon riders that can't grow up long enough to realize that although it's disappointing, it's not the end of the world. If it makes you feel any better, after seeing a car being flipped the local news made sure to play footage of Rodgers Arena with everyone clapping for the Bruins and the newscasters commended them on their amount of class. We know what's up and the fact we could see Rodgers Arena still pretty full after the buzzer is a bigger statement than the rioters. There's always idiots to mess things up, but don't let that get you down.

There are always assholes like this in every city. Inevitably, there would be grade A douchebags just like this who would destroy shit when the Lakers won championships. I honestly can't conceive of the mindset of a person who would do this.
