Huh, cool big brother-type James has a life I wasn't really aware of. I mean, your personal life is your business and I think I've gleamed bits and pieces of this story throughout the years. But I can understand this, if maybe not to the full capacity that you went through.
I'm with Mimmi on this. I say that because she said it in a much better way than I could ever hope to type.
I remember waiting everyday for a new installment of that saga. This was a really nice piece to close the story. I kind of suck with keeping up with you, but know that I think of you often. I'm going to find someone to get married to just so you'll visit again.
I was a witness to small parts of this story. Looking at it from afar, there is a little part of me that wishes I could have done more as a friend to lend an open ear.
Christ, we've known each other through MyO and TheO for damn near a decade. I cannot count or recall how many times I've sideswiped you by calling you a bastard for my own amusement. It's always been in fun though.
It was an interesting introspective to read. I hope that things with the current "Girl" in your life continue to go well.
Yo, if the essay was no one's business to talk about, I wouldn't have posted it to begin with. If you have a thought about any of it, I wouldn't be against hearing it whichever way it may lean.

I fail to find the words to express myself after having read this. Except to say how honoring it is to be part of your world, in whatever form :)

@SomeGuy:
True that. As it happens, I don't have anything to say on the matter except best of luck.

Sigh. You always write essays where I feel it's none of my business to comment on....
So I'll just leave it at that.
