I tried to stay awake and failed. XP Oh well, better luck next time I suppose. The lights are too bright from the city anyway so it's possible that I wouldn't have seen anything.
Oh and I may not know why... but!

I'm assuming it was. It looked like a star, but it was moving. Like, moving way too fast to be a star. And it was way too small and bright to be an aircraft. And while it's possible it could have been extra-terrestrial, the fact that it was going in a straight line at a steady pace leads me to believe it was a satellite.
Also, I once saw a similar thing and my friend suggested that's what it was, so I'm stickin' to it.

You saw a satellite too. How could you tell what it was this far down on the ground? Do you have telescopic vision? Is your building really, really tall? *shot*

I can barely see anything as far as celestial objects in my part of the city. There was a satellite/space station thing a while back, but other than that, I can pretty much COUNT the stars in my sky. Shame I couldn't see it (I'm not normally up that late this close to school), though I am glad it got you some rooftop enjoyment.
I tried and checked until early morning but no luck, heh I already knew I couldn't watch anything but you know I still tried.
Happy that you saw them, though. It must have been quite a show especially if you were listening to Chrono Cross Soundtrack.
Aww, I missed a spectactular show didn't I. From what I heard, Chrono Cross music = awesome! I heard one of the songs while watching a Luigi fanmade flash.
Six-year-olds and nuclear weapons: a combination that just can't be beat.
The lights here in SLC are too bright. -_- I did peek out earlier though since I got up early to look. It was kind of fun, but I only saw a few of them. I'm sure there were more, I just couldn't see them.

The amount of light and field of view around my house kind of sucks (there's tall trees blocking most everything except straight up and northward) but I still managed to see some good ones. I went out for about forty-five minutes and saw two great meteors that left a trail, three more that were really bright, and a few smaller ones.
Chrono Cross has the best soundtrack of any video game I've played. Very nice choice.

I was informed of this meteor shower the other day. As part of my ignorant teen girl facade, I immediately forgot about it until I read your post.

Sounds like a cool way to unwind after the previous brain frying experiences.
Chrono Cross soundtrack? Ill have to check it out. I could use some soothing music knowing that I will be driving the bastard children again soon.
