Well, your explanation was spot on, and my hunch was horribly erroneous to say the least. My theory was kind of rooted in a less secure means of doing the embed code. I looked more carefully at the way both images and videos are embedded (they use similar coding inserts after all) and there's no way around the limit that I can tell. Although we know that the same piece can be put in more than once, there's no way to put multiple pieces in that I can tell, and believe me I'm none to thrilled about that.

Actually, all he did was re-add the variable for the single uploaded video again. When a video is uploaded, you use :video: to add it to the post. The same thing goes for images with the :image: variable. Adding them more than once is as simple as adding that little bit of text in each location you want it to appear. Unfortunately, this also means there's no way (that I can currently see anyway) around this limitation.
I noticed that, but the fact that it is posted twice is significant in and of itself. If it can be a repeat of the same video, putting in a different one shouldn't be a problem either.

Yeah, that limited to one upload thing kind of had my eye as well, and I'm thinking I know how you managed to get around it. It's going to be a headache to do anything with images (I don't do vids cause my computer hates them more often than not) here till we can link images externally, but oh well, I'll deal with it.
