Brand New Goddamn Batman

Picked up "Batman: Under The Red Hood" after work today:

This is a frickin' sweet Batman movie. If you know your lore (especially regarding your Jason Todd), you're gonna get a huge kick out of this. The fights are gorgeous, the story's epic and super-emotional, and there's some really sweet bonus stuff on the disc like a preview for next month's DC animated film.

And if that doesn't sell you on it: Neil Patrick Harris as Nightwing. Or John DiMaggio as Joker.

So yeah. Good movie. Watch it.

So, saw The Dark Knight . . .

Yeah. It was gold. Loved it. Everyone can now stop reminding me to "watch carefully" for that pencil scene now.

Ended up watching it with my parents, by the way. Saw that, then had dinner, then grabbed some foodstuffs at Superstore. Made a good day out of it all, I'd say.

So yeah. Enjoyed that.
