Welcome to my world.
I'm SomeGuy, 29 years old, residing in Vancouver, BC, Canada. I've studied English Literature, Chinese Martial Arts, and am currently pursuing careers in writing - possibly even in the anime industry itself.
And I work for this site.
And you should be watching Beck: Mongolian Chop Squad.
Or watching Ranma 1/2.
Or learning about the Shinsengumi.
Or planning to visit Vancouver, The Best Place On Earth (actual marketing motto).
Here at the "Smallville" page, I have my personal blog where I'll post about anything and everything. If ya need me or otherwise need to know anything from/about me, here's where I'll be.
If you're really looking for my more professional, site-type stuff, you wanna head over my "Metropolis" world.

Then,
Visit this page. Girl is 24 today. Is good year by asian-standards as Ox year is her year.
I think I shall post a picture I never posted before:
(Most suitable instance of red eye evar.)
Happy birthday, both of you. Insane love to y'all. And just think, next year we'll probably all be able to celebrate together! You know that's gonna kick all kinds of ass.
Fan Words are finally cleared out!!! Booyah! I think I probably went a little easier on a lot of them, didn't get nitpicky about things so long they were still spelt right and stuff like that. Emotes . . . yeah, I let those slide this time. Heh, here's hoping that doesn't become a habit.
Guess I have time to start writing up my con' reports, then. Got some more Shinsengumi to plug!
So other than that, been having tons of fun with Cat'.
-Convention all of last weekend.
-Japanese dinner, 3 Doors Down (along with Econoline Crush, Hinder and Staind) on Tuesday.
-PNE/Playland (think large annual fair and amusement park) all day in the rain, followed by drying off at home watching School Rumble in the evening.
She's going camping with some other cousins this weekend; they invited me to come as well, so I'll probably drive out on the Saturday to chill with them. Should be fun.
Yeah. This is easily one of the best summers evar.
Hey y'all.
Lookin' for new Fan Words? Caption battles? Weekly vocabulary? Any of that sorta stuff? Yeah, well . . . it's convention time. Don't expect me around much for the next three or four days.
Also, the past day or so I've been busy with other matters:
Alexa's gone home today, so that's it for her (for now), but damn. Fun times. Included Rock Band, even (and Shin', we all think hanging out with you would be the bomb. Just sayin'). Sadly, the pictures of them in yukata are on Catarina's camera . . . but y'know . . .
So yeah. Don't expect to much from me for the next half week or so. Just sayin'.
Went up to Burnaby Mountain with the Shinsengumi-types. Did some flower-viewing, took some pictures in cosplay . . . and it rained the whole time.
But y'know what? It's okay, 'cause we freakin' have business cards now!!! Bwahaha . . . I'll bring 'em to all the cons we go to, it'll be great. Oh, true fact: the cards (both business cards and postcards) have our theOtaku.com URL on 'em, so y'know, good times! Hehe, it just needs to be August now, is all . . .
Today I need to take the car in for servicing; I also may or may not be helping a guy out with filming some fighting sequences (if I am, that'll be fun). But that's not so interesting.
What's far more interesting, I think, is that today is every single freakin' person's BIRTHDAY TODAY!
One's 23, the other's 18. Wish 'em both well and stuff 'cause they're awesome like that.
Seriously, DO ITTT!
