Welcome to my world.

I'm SomeGuy, 29 years old, residing in Vancouver, BC, Canada. I've studied English Literature, Chinese Martial Arts, and am currently pursuing careers in writing - possibly even in the anime industry itself.

And I work for this site.

And you should be watching Beck: Mongolian Chop Squad.
Or watching Ranma 1/2.
Or learning about the Shinsengumi.
Or planning to visit Vancouver, The Best Place On Earth (actual marketing motto).

Here at the "Smallville" page, I have my personal blog where I'll post about anything and everything. If ya need me or otherwise need to know anything from/about me, here's where I'll be.

If you're really looking for my more professional, site-type stuff, you wanna head over my "Metropolis" world.

That's some Bad Hat, Harry!

New episode of House was last night. It was excellent with all sorts of fun new dramas to interest viewers. Also, though I no longer feel this is true considering how much gold took place throughout the episode, I wish I could say that the pre-title prologue was my favourite moment.

'Cause really, when you have a show finally airing new episodes after a lengthy Writer's Guild strike . . . there's no better way than to open with a picket line of striking nurses. That's freakin' awesome. Still, I do wonder if that means that the writers are either able to laugh at themselves or are trying to make some sort of statement . . . hmm . . . no matter, it was awesome all around.

Aside from that . . . my video card is really starting to piss me off. If anything's 3D-intensive like a game, it plays for about 10 minutes and then everything comes crashing down with messages of "error, unresponsive, was reset". I remember one time we thought it might've been dust in the video card fan, but I'm less sure about that . . . drivers are good and all, but yeah - could it just be dying?

Better get Stupid Ed on top of that one . . . though he generally just goes "get a new one!" Thanks, Stupid Ed . . .

That aside, I promoted 4 Fan Words today. For a group of 25-ish submissions, that ain't bad. Go writers, go!
