The Shinsengumi March . . .

Alright, so at the last convention I went to, Anime Evolution, the Shinsengumi cosplayers did something rather memorable: we got into double-column formation and marched around the venue. And honestly, when you're a samurai in uniform and in formation with ten other people (including one or two standard-bearers!), you feel pretty awesome. Like, you'll walk down the middle of a hallway, and people move out of the way for you. And they understand that you won't stop for pictures, so they have to run ahead and take it as you move. It's powerful.

It's even more powerful for us, because I also carried an iPod with speakers in a satchel around me . . . very fun stuff.

Now back then I made a tracklist on the spot of like, Peacemaker Kurogane music and music from the Shinsengumi! taiga drama.

This time, for Sakura-Con, I've compiled a full-length tracklist of 19 songs. It runs for about an hour, and it's gonna be amazing . . . here, have a preview:

Oh, by request from one of the Shinsengumi girls, I've added the "Space Marine Theme" from Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War. It goes between "Taken" and the "Morrowind Main Theme".

Excited? I sure am. If you go to Sakura-con, keep an eye out for a wave of blue and white on Sunday . . . possibly around noon or so . . . we're still figuring that specific part out . . .
