I never had to take a written test for mine, I did it all on a computer at the DMV when I got mine, except my I never got my actual permit, since I didn't have all of the stuff I needed when my father took me and my mom pretty much thought that the paper thing they gave to me was my permit, but oh well. I haven't had any problems. xD

My bio-dad was teaching me still, but due to his ankle surgery/recovery, I'm having to wait a little bit longer to go back into practicing again. I'm planning to have my license at least by Spring 2015, if that. Then my mom said she's going to give me her car when she finishes paying it off and get herself a new car. So, I pretty much have my car, just need my license, lol.
