If you don't know what a Vocaloid is, it is a singing synthesizer application software developed by the Yamaha Corporation that enables users to synthesize singing by typing in lyrics and melody. Simply look them up on Wikipedia for more information.

Requests are also welcome! If you want me to post a song here, simply PM me and please send a link for the song. That way you can share your favorite Vocaloid song with everyone! Thank you!

More Information on Utatane Piko

Today I found some more information on the latest Vocaloid Utatane Piko, which was released on December 8, 2010. Apparently, this new Vocaloid is the first character in Vocaloids to use the Vocaloids2 engine. Furthermore, his name was inspired by a popular Nico Nico Douga singer known as Piko. Thus, his name means "Sound of Singer", combing with Piko, it reads as "Sound of Singer Piko".

The price of this new Vocaloid adds up to about 15,750 yen (around $173.08), while a free trial was released on December 1st. Also, for some reason, Sony demanded that any uploads created with the free trial were not allowed to be reposted anywhere. I read that after one downloads the trial, a message from Sony pops up saying this. The only actual demos that are out there seem to be official... But who knows?

Anyway there is not too much information out there yet, but this is what I have gathered so far. If I find anything else on the matter I'll be sure to update this post and let everyone know.

Thank you for reading and have a great day!

Melt [Utatane Piko]

I actually really like his voice! He's got good vocals... what do you think? Actually, it's the real voice of Piko's seiiyu, but it's close enough. He's the same one who did a fan dub for Black Rock Shooter a while back. Anyway, here's Piko singing Melt~ Enjoy~!
