Your welcome, but let me do warn you of the rabid fans and that the book is brain washing. I used to like it but the "Fear Sparkly Vampire" just got me out of it after I read the entire series.
Eh, the first book would've been better if she didn't talk about how oh-so-perfect Edward was and the way he looked and if the plot came in sooner than the last hundred pages.
-_- If you ask me, Bella's a Mary Sue and Edward is just a stalker. This is my opinion though.
I loved Twilight. The characters each had their own quirks, and even the immortal vampires had flaws. Bella wasn't a perfect girl but an underdog. The tension between Edward and her were very real, palpable. Their relationship grew on each turn of the page, along with the Edward's and Bella's growth. The hints of Jacob were well-placed. James was terrifying and cruel. The ending is not an ending and hinges not on complete happiness, but compromise.

Hey, Matt,
Well, you asked for it. Here's my review on the Twilight series.
I love them!! (It's at the beginning, so you know.) However, my mom and my sister do not like them a lot because the ending was "too weird". To them, the author's idea was good, but she could have carried it our better. She needed more connections from one place to the next, like she had been doing in the first three.
For me, the last book's strangeness made it wonderful! It's unique, pulling away from anything that can be cliché. She took a risk, but it's a cool twist to me. Each relationship is well-formed and different. There are hardly any flat characters by the end of the book. I've heard about the language problems, or immaturity. but I don't see anything wrong in that area.
My favorite characters are Alice, Edward, and Jacob (tied with Bella).
I can expand more if you want me to. Hope it helps.
